You can run it as a server, so that technically you could stream from your 'server' through plex, to any device that had an internet connection while you were outside of your home. I think it's just more convenient. I have an app on my phone that acts as a remote control for the computer file management system as well, which more or less makes it as convenient as watching standard TV. I think it's mostly the server aspect though.

So you'd take Kevin Phillips? Niall Quinn? Boudewijn Zenden (Dutch and played for Sunderland)?

I appreciate that my contribution here was not especially helpful -

I thought Mexico was Central America to be fair. Not sure where I'd put it if I had to choose between South and North though... -
Given that most of them are here to 'boost' their careers, getting relegated would probably damage them individually in terms of future salaries/clubs who are interested, etc.
-
I feel like you're all failing to get into the spirit of Parky's thread..
-
If it gets really bad they'll bring someone in though. We're all talking as though January ends and then that's it. We can replace Carver any time.

Kewell? -
Any reason why he was sacked? I mean, other than the obvious.
-
Oh thank God...one terrible decision that can't now be taken by our board.
-
Even if we do stay up, the media gloating when Pardew's Palace overtake us in the table will be utterly insufferable.
-
Obviously this would be good news, and potentially even worth waiting till summer for assuming we can avoid relegation... but would they hire him?
-
How are they going to have a meaningful debate with this many participants? If it's anything like last time they'll all just be falling over each other with meaningless rhetoric, except to a greater degree as there are two additional politicians. I don't think there'll even be sufficient time for all of the candidates to voice their opinions on things.

Clichy? -
http://www.theguardian.com/football/blog/2015/jan/22/cambridge-united-supporting-max-rushden Good article about a Cambridge Utd fan's experiences of following Cambridge. Doesn't seem entirely unfamiliar in terms of the excitement about the team that pulled him in initially, only to give way to mismanagement and disappointment.

I'll just be quiet now
-
Does seem like he's properly left us. Although I was thinking the other day, while the forum is a bit quieter at the moment, there's no one stirring up shit in the manner that Aeris, CT, DesmondTUTU, etc used to do. The closest we've come is The Fish setting CSD to ignore.

I can honestly say that while I was at school (St. Cuthberts) no one ever used that term in conversation with me, or around me. I recall 'dingleberries' being used but I expect you'll now tell me this is some sort of posh southern version of the word
-
Actually, was born and grew up in Newcastle - just never heard the phrase..!

It is fucking good like. -
This has certainly been an agreeable discussion about some disagreeable events, and I'm sure we can all agree on that.
-
It must be that on some level, it translates into some form of gain. Maybe the political clout it brings matters to smaller nations we deal with.
-
Dammit, I'm going from bad to worse in forum conventions! Thanks for clarifying and for that...graphic imagery.
-
Ok look, what's a winnet? I've been trying to ignore my ignorance for that term for ages and I just can't take it anymore.

Ah fair enough then. I had the impression that their focus on youth would keep player wages low, high profits on sales, etc...wonder where all the money goes.
