oops. I've fixed my original post for what it's worth.

Hm. That's quite possibly your problem. How about this - leave your manually configured DNS settings as they are, but switch it to pick up automatically for when you're browsing. That might fix the problem, and when you want to switch over you can just change the setting back again as they should still be there, just greyed out (although I'm not 100% on that last point).

Interesting...if it's a DNS issue, couldn't you just use Google's? If you go to your internet properties you can manually enter the DNS to use. Google's is 8.8.8.8 Not sure if that would override BT on the router though...

What specific message is it bringing up as it fails?

Is that the one where he flies into [redacted] and somehow [redacted]?

You can run it as a server, so that technically you could stream from your 'server' through plex, to any device that had an internet connection while you were outside of your home. I think it's just more convenient. I have an app on my phone that acts as a remote control for the computer file management system as well, which more or less makes it as convenient as watching standard TV. I think it's mostly the server aspect though.

How are they going to have a meaningful debate with this many participants? If it's anything like last time they'll all just be falling over each other with meaningless rhetoric, except to a greater degree as there are two additional politicians. I don't think there'll even be sufficient time for all of the candidates to voice their opinions on things.

Does seem like he's properly left us. Although I was thinking the other day, while the forum is a bit quieter at the moment, there's no one stirring up shit in the manner that Aeris, CT, DesmondTUTU, etc used to do. The closest we've come is The Fish setting CSD to ignore.

I can honestly say that while I was at school (St. Cuthberts) no one ever used that term in conversation with me, or around me. I recall 'dingleberries' being used but I expect you'll now tell me this is some sort of posh southern version of the word
