In reality I have no idea, although I hope it's some kind of commentary about your interior decor choices.

Triffid: The triffid is a fictitious, tall, mobile, prolific and highly venomous plant species I think it's pretty obvious what he's getting at.

This is actually a very good point. I'd not thought about that before. Also agree on North Korea, although I think China would descend on them like a ton of bricks if they ever actually did anything directly aggressive. NK will be sorted out regionally and without our involvement. Russia is a different story, and Mako is likely correct in thinking that Putin checks his actions because of our capabilities (amongst others in NATO, if not the UK on it's own).

Of course they have, the fuckwits No one saw that coming, Nige.

Worse than Elliot...? And yes, Vlaar is an obvious one too but I figured he'd go to Man Utd. That said, I don't hold much hope for us getting Richards either. Liverpool shouldn't bother with Ings, he's decent but not the superstar striker they need in order to just miss out on the top 4 next year.

That image is too small to read.

The SNP comparison is a good one, but that only worked because they had something meaningful to offer people across a broad swathe of political areas, and had proven this by being in power in for some time up until that point. And even then, I think this is a flash in the pan - they'll be burned in the same way that the Lib Dems were this time around once they have to take responsibility for policy decisions that go wrong instead of just pointing at Westminster.

Reckon Mako might be right on this one. UKIP's raison d'etre is this referendum on Europe. If the Tories have it and we vote out, why would anyone except the extremists vote for UKIP again? They'd have achieved their objective. If we vote to stay in, then they might rumble on - but they'd be entirely without legitimacy, as the country, as a majority, will have rejected their view. Support will fall away as people voting for them currently realise that an escape from Europe isn't going to happen, and that voting for other parties will better influence their lives. The only scenario I can see for them hanging around is if they start distancing themselves from the Europe question and putting a real effort into talking about their other policies in the run up to it while they still have people's ears. Another good move by Cameron to be honest, he'll kill UKIP altogether with this referendum.

I'd take Brad Jones to replace Elliot and put some actual pressure on Krul. Micah Richards if he'd even consider moving here. Agree with Fish on Ings and Sinclair.

He's probably just delighted that he's stopped the hugely embarrassing run of defeats. I agree basically though, the whole team is continuing to play utterly shit bar a few individuals having the odd decent moment. Carver alienated the entire dressing room last week by the sounds of it and is now probably trying to pull them back on board. He's utterly hopeless at this management stuff, it's actually astounding that a) he's exactly as bad as we all thought he would be, b] that he's exactly as embarrassing as we thought he would be and c) the board couldn't see this coming.

Their recent form suggests that they aren't quite as shit as we are though... we are unavoidably the worst team in the league at present. I agree with Graing as well, hopefully QPR get relegated tomorrow (something I consider highly likely) otherwise we're going to have a fucking mental end to the season.

Team with nothing to play for vs Sunderland (0-2) Aston Villa vs Team with nothing to play for (1-0) Leicester vs Team with nothing to play for (2-0) The only surprising result in my book was Burnley beating Hull, and even then they still had something to play for. This is why I'm concerned about that Spurs vs Hull game.
-
I've just started a Chianti actually That's how far the club has sunk, I'm celebrating a 1-1 draw at home with fucking West Brom.
-
I'm honestly saying that Hull have something to play for and Spurs don't.
-
Judging by today's performance, I don't think the players are that arsed.
-
Spurs have conceded as many goals this season as Burnley. They're done. They may actively want to lose in order to avoid Europa.
-
Nice..! Could you feel the difference in the ride?
-
Huh, Burnley gone...
-
So the club has managed to do the bare minimum to ensure that this is drawn out for another week...

This is bigger than Sunderland and Boro lads, even though there's local rivalries etc - this is about Ashley learning a fucking lesson about how to run a football club and, you never know, might even force him out. I would take relegation and sitting a league below Boro and Sunderland for a couple of seasons over any more repeats of the absolutely shocking annihilation of this 'football club' that we've witnessed season on season for the past 4 years or so - arguably longer save for a freak good season. Staying above two teams who are amongst the most irrelevant in the entire footballing landscape pales in comparison to kicking fucking Ashley into touch. If we go down, and I think we will, he will feel it. He will. He may not go, but he'll finally feel the heat and consequences of his fucking stupid decisions.
