  1. Loved those gifs hazard must have fucking hated him by the end of that...
  2. I'm genuinely starting to think essemmbee is just arsing around on here, some of his comments are too perfect
  3. Did he play a one-two with a defender's left leg to get past his right leg FFS...
  4. It's going to be a sweet moment, but if they don't come off, are we going to have to accept that at the very least he's learned from his experience here, and is actually not a bad manager That'd be a bitter one to choke down...
  5. I thought it was 1am... that sucks, I was going to chance staying up till 1 but there's no way 3am is happening...
  6. There's a 'blood moon' out tonight guys, just in case any of you are avid photographers/eschatologists.
  7. Fucking hell, I just watched them Only Ayoze as well...
  8. I bought this too - was staying up late reading it last night It's staggering to read about how different the make up of the team and club was back then. How on earth it went from that to this is really beyond me.
  9. It is, but I don't know if I agree with it. We manage to bring in actually quite decent players, it's just that we don't coach them properly. It's not like we're fielding a side full of the same kinds of cloggers as Sunderland. Also, if you compare the northern teams with the southern ones it's about equal. City, Man Utd and Liverpool all more or less cancel out Chelsea, Arsenal and Spurs. Everton and Newcastle (if we get our shit together, this is where we really should be) on paper are more or less counter balancing Southampton and Swansea. Sure you've then got Palace and West Ham but for me they're both still 'flash in the pan' kind of teams, it remains to be seen if they can keep it up over a longer period. I don't think much has changed really except that we're having a shit period despite the relative quality of our squad, and that WHam and Palace are going through decent patches in our absence.
  10. What the shit happened to City yesterday...? Also good to see Sunderland falling to absolute bottom rather than sharing it with us.
  11. I think the reality is that we're going to have to suspend judgment until a couple of games following the City game, these matches against the heavyweights aren't telling us much.
  12. So are we to assume that Mitro is fundamental to the way McClaren wants to play? Meaning that we essentially have no plan B, but that actually, we may have a decent plan A. I suppose Plan B might materialise in January with the signing of Austin. Either way, despite throwing 2 points away, it's nice to feel like we're actually not as bad as it looked earlier in the week.
  13. The whole sport has gone to shit though, it's not just us at least.
  14. What is with the order of those photos though... You can almost build a story around them... Pic 1 - The target. Pic 2 - Are those cows? Pic 3 - *thinking time* Pic 4 - ...New target. Pic 5 - Mission accomplished. ... I may have been drinking tonight.
  15. CT has now apparently moved on to self parody...
  16. God that's both wonderful and painful, just remembering what it used to be. FFS. In truth, there's no team in the country that can hold a candle to what that team used to represent. I don't think that kind of city wide will passion exists anymore, anywhere.
  17. Just wait till HMHM sees that...
  18. We actually played reasonably well in a few games prior to mitrovic's suspension, which is the only thing offering any semblance of positivity here. Maybe the team shape will somehow work better when he's back. Other than that, they look shot of confidence in my opinion...
  19. Straight from the comedy twitter account presumably...
  20. If he has, he's probably going to be proven right.
  21. Love the running commentary on here...
