  1. BBC reporting that we've not had a shot on target in 209 mins... (although not on target, there was the crossbar rattler last week at least)
  2. He'll have gone in to 'let him know he's there' or some such bollocks. Old school stuff. Problem is, we're now going to have every club we play against trying to get him sent off. Can he handle that?
  3. Agree with this. He's come over here with a rep, talked up kicking defenders and whatnot, and he's just seen what the result is.
  4. Close up shop now like, damage control. What a fucking waste of a game.
  5. Well look, if you and a few others reckon Tiote can do a job then great. I think he's a liability. More than happy to be corrected by a few good performances whenever we're playing him next, but for now I'm pleased personally that he's not in the team.
  6. You could pinpoint the moment when we lost control though - it was when Anita went off and he came on. Granted the 'team' lost, but Anita going off and him coming on was the catalyst for it.
  7. Would agree on Sissoko in the centre and Perez out wide. Still wouldn't play Tiote. Just noticed Arsenal have Walcott up front. Walcott always fucking canes us... although Mbemba has probably been told to be all over him. Makes him a better choice than Taylor today, actually.
  8. Perhaps I'm just thinking too short term in my memory, but Tiote gave away a penalty last week and allowed Southampton back into the game when we were 2-1 up in our first game (following Anita's injury). Maybe he's just lacking sharpness, but I don't think Anita or Colback are, even if they are limited players... Tiote is a huge risk against Arsenal.
  9. Sorry but, what has Tiote done this season that makes people think he's any good? I don't think he's turned in a decent performance since Cabaye left...

    Hangovers

It fucking works! Either that or my liver is superhuman.

    Hangovers

http://www.nhs.uk/Livewell/alcohol/Pages/Hangovers.aspx I have googled this self-contradicting article from the NHS, which advises that there are no cures for hangovers, in the way that your parents once told you that eating sprouts was fundamental to your physical development, before begrudgingly pointing out that actually, having a pint of water before bed will help keep hangovers away. I'm gonna go full Parky and claim that this is all part of some diabolical (read: well-meaning) plan to stop people from drinking so much.

    Hangovers

Look - I was drinking last night and had a headache coming on before I even went to sleep. Stayed up another hour, had a pint and a half of water. Am now fine. I don't want to second guess the Dutch (cowards, etc), but either Dutch people aren't ingesting water properly, or there are some other factors at play.
  13. Ewerk's one is possibly the most depressingly awful thing I've ever seen. ANS's one is great
  14. True enough, he is. Still think he's a better option for the future than Colo though, given their relative ages.
  15. Every now and then I get home happily drunk after a few drinks following work, turn on this forum and find that absolutely no one is posting. Don't pretend you're all out socialising because I know for a fact that isn't true (Gemmill). ...Fie on you all.
  16. Not sure if I see Colo here beyond next year really... We need Mbemba to become a better version of Colo, and then to carry Taylor.
  17. Taylor is undermined by his yearly injury and aptitude for being an arse. But actually, he's really not that bad. He's fucking brave if nothing else. I recall the season we came 5th, he and Colo were fucking amazing up until Taylor got injured. I think people on here can be a bit harsh about Taylor, especially when we still have Williamson in the ranks.
