Norwich V Newcastle / Saturday / 3PM / Carrow Road

Fair point like - I think the Sissoko thing comes from him generally not looking arsed rather than a fear of getting on the ball. As for the overall 'coward' thing on here, you'll need Essemmbee to explain that one. Being dutch makes you a coward automatically, but the rules after that seem inconsistent. -
I've knew Gary Neville would have a hand in our downfall.

Pique* but yes, that's about where I am. Not fully sure we're doomed but mostly sure. -

Ahh the optimism of youth. Unjaded and unaware of the crushing reality that hope leads to. -
fuck me, Villa doesn't half bring out the worst in people.

He probably thinks that was a joke worthy of Corbett...

the number of CT digs in that comment... -
No, I don't want to see them go under. A shame when it happens to any club and their own nightmare in recent years mirrors ours.

At the end of the day lads, the club will be here next season and at least we might win some games. Ashley will have paid for his fucking stupidity, literally, and we can start all over again. We were pretty much going to have to start all over again in the summer anyway. -

God you know, I forgot Darlow. I thought we were down to Woodman... That said, its not like Norwich are amazing up front, they're about Darlows level I wager. Everyone else we're playing on the other hand... When is Krul back? -
Deliberately controversial it is, then.
-
Sometimes it seems like scoobos deliberately takes up controversial positions... I actually can't recall how good Shearer was towards the end of his England career, or who else was available at the time. Does this criticism ring true?
-
There definitely isn't a place for him. The team clearly plays better without him. I'd take him for whatever dressing room respect he commands but that's it. Not first team. England always look pretty good in the run up to tournaments and always disappoint once there though, so this result changes nothing really. Nice to see them come back and win it though.
-
England with a surprisingly good result today. Rooney not playing... lesson learned there I would hope.

I'm not so sure it's an arithmetic thing though. It's about how the question is worded and the setting of certain expectations in your head based on the numbers used. For instance, if you'd been asked what 10p plus 1.10p is, you wouldn't have said 1.10p. If SEW hadn't said it was a trick question and had asked it in a none 'test' setting, I reckon a higher number of people would have been caught out.

I think the response should have been a Navy Seal team rather than levelling a country whose only crime was being the place the guy fled to (and likely left almost immediately when the bombs started falling). Afghanistan was a foreign policy disaster as well as a humanitarian one.

I dunno, it does require a bit of thought. Someone has got it wrong based on the poll...
-
What's different about this one is that there's a well organised terrorist group sitting out there praying upon and weirdly empowering those who are victims of our insecurity. Insecurity that this group themselves create. It's a very good strategy actually, its working very well. That said, some part of that cycle has to stop somewhere for this to end.

Edited - replied too soon for the poll...
