Generic small time football blather thread 2015/16

I have some begrudging respect for that actually... Did Wenger actually come out and blame club staff for not being able to buy players? -
Fair enough - I'm not saying I expect us to win in truth, I'm just not convinced that we should be concerned about playing anyone in this league. I'm aware of the pride before fall aspect of this but even so. I really don't think any team in this division should be able to withstand us if we get into gear.

Honestly, I don't even know why Corbyn is continuing with his. He must be sick to the back teeth of the media by now and yet he still hangs on. Why? I mean, even though I agree with his policies I can see he and Labour now have no chance of getting into government any time soon, whatever happens. I read that he was very close to quitting when the mass resignations happened, and was talked into staying. I bet he's regretting it now.

The inevitable post match argument with CT has begun, it seems. I didn't see any of it so have little to contribute, but I do recall the radio commentators (I know..!) giving Gamez a hard time in the first 20 mins or so. Saying he looked unconvincing. I guess he must have improved as the match went on? It sounded dire for the first half an hour or so.

Mitro will get his chance to impress CT. If he gets a hat trick or something at some point, CT will think he's the best thing since sliced bread. Glad to hear his injury isn't a concussion - hopefully we can make a real statement at Brighton now. For all people are talking them up, I think it's worth noting that this is a team who, if they were in the Prem, would be lower bottom half.

Yedlin is just a replacement I guess. Reckon most of our transfer activity from here will just be about covering players who are about to leave. Good luck to Krul I suppose, hope he has a good season. It's hard to group him into the same category as players like Sissoko, he's been here for years and was injured for most of last season anyway - hard to blame him for much of it.

Maybe there's performance related fees involved as well. I dunno though, seems inevitable. Still, decent chance we'll be looking down on him at the end of next season. West Ham I could have understood, but not Watford.
