Well, you guys put my hobbies of gaming and work to shame, anyway. Fair play, was just curious really. Thanks for sharing.

I do actually think they're looking at decades to rewrite all of the legislation, my friend...
-
Nice. What genre? You should put up a sample of the stuff when you have the album together
-
Are you guys in a band or is it just recreational? You're just so heavily into guitars that I thought there might be youtube videos of jamming sessions or something out there!

This is going to go on for years though... decades probably to get all the legal stuff done. We might not even be alive to see the end of the process. All for a protest vote against austerity... I'm glad you're upbeat about it at least CT - it'd probably be even more depressing if the Brexiters were gloomy about our prospects. Did anyone see the report with 25% of the country considering emigrating? I'm in that 25%, not that I have particularly high expectations of anywhere else. Why can't the world be run by the sane?

I'm not saying that they should have had one to begin with - just that the plan seems to be not to have a plan. And just to fudge through it depending on which way the wind blows before dressing up whatever we come out with as some massive victory. I'd be amazed if anyone in the cabinet has a clear idea of what it is that we even want at this point. I'm really struggling to watch this unfold, it's going to go on for fucking eons.

That's actually the first vaguely credible reason for having him that I've heard. It has to be it, surely. Thing is though, Allardyce doesn't motivate teams to achieve, does he? Is motivating to avoid relegation the same as motivating to win something?

Japan's warning should have set off some alarm bells, mind. I actually now believe that May still doesn't have a plan, and is trying to navigate this mess as she goes. Which could mean that we end up literally anywhere.
-
Just read more of that interview and Allardyce goes on to comment on how Rooney played deeper than he (Allardyce) thought he would, as if this was something over which he has no control and is just passive observer. It's going to be an interesting two years. I'd be amazed if it goes on longer than two.
-
Can't be real, even for Allardyce that'd be fucking ludicrous.

It is just like the South Park episode actually I'm often surprised by how accurate to real life south park is...
-
I said that about Thor actually. But KCG ruled it out with his comic book qualifier.
-
Starwars kind of is comic book though... If they had done the same thing with a guy I'd feel the same. It has to be open to criticism at the end of the day or it does no one any favours.

there's two different variations on the meaning then. I dunno, I have no issue with strong female characters in a number of films when done well (didn't enjoy it particularly but hunger games was an example of this) but that star wars one was just silly.
-
It's the removal of any character flaws from a female character (in this case also hopelessly overpowering said female character) usually in a token bid to seem 'feminist' friendly. Unfortunately it tends to ruin the story/character development. I also think it suggests that writers have a hard time envisioning strong female characters who are actually relateable.

They definitely Mary sue'd the girl in the latest one, it was cringe inducing. I think the trailer for the new one looks awesome though.

I've been with Vodafone for years and agree they're good on that front. I ordered a new phone from them that didn't come because it went out of stock/sale the day I picked it and they upgraded me to a top of the line newer version as an apology for the inconvenience. Downside is that you get random sales calls from then though.

Holy fuck is that a thing? It's bound to be I guess...

Moussa Sissoko signs for Spurs for like £30m or WatEVA
Rayvin replied to Park Life's topic in Newcastle Forum
Remember that time he tackled Mitrovic to prevent a certain goal? For us. All the spooned shots, the fear of having to do something, anything that required ability. In fairness he has a decent cross on him sometimes but that's the only thing I can think of. He runs a lot but I don't recall that ever leading to anything useful.- 1745 replies

So they didn't get Ulloa and Naismith in the end? Fucking shambles of a window with the exception of Januzaj...

Good God that was painful to read... I'm sure some of that is right but the idea that they can script a human interaction like that and people will just expect it to work somehow makes me depressed for humanity.
