  1. They have 2 already man! They just need to win the next 6 games in a row to get there!
  2. Aye, there is that. Surely it's against their principles to not release it if it's serious?
  3. Ashley more or less ended his failed experiment when Rafa came in though, and I think for most of us, that's the important thing - it's almost as if we're in a new era now. If we'd had another useless appointment we'd still be going on at him. Short fundamentally doesn't know what he's doing IMO. No vision for the club at all. I think the Johnson case and subsequent loss of Byrne probably hurt them more than we thought actually, if she was the one running things. Sudden departures of CEOs are never a good thing. The club is tearing itself down of its own accord. I don't think relegation will be good for them as such, but it'll see them back to where they should be.
  4. Possibly? I dunno, depends how long the key is. Does he even have a mobile phone? On the Hillary bit, yeah I thought that too but he seems to be using it because he's concerned about his own life, so he may take the view that while now would be the most damaging time to release it, he loses his leverage over anyone in terms of keeping him alive. Also, it'll not just be about Clinton. The very fact it is makes me nervous about her again though. Fucks sake this election is a travesty.
  5. Absolutely agree with this. Slightly concerned how much Parky and I have been in agreement recently The MSM has had it IMO, but they're lashing out all over the place presently in a bid to retain control.
  6. Ok so I just checked, it seems that many people the world over have downloaded this file with the leaks in it, and when Wikileaks are stopped from making announcements, he issues the key to the file. If that's true, it would explain why they've taken out his internet. But also, if that were true, they'd surely just storm the embassy wouldn't they? If we're talking about things getting this serious?
  7. Although it'd be annoying if Short sells. He's definitely the root cause of their problems.
  8. How good is his dead man though? It looks like they're knocking everything out around him presently...
  9. The new manager bounce is their speciality tbf. If it keeps on like this, Moyes won't make it to Christmas though. If Short has any sense, he'll let Moyes soldier on, accept relegation, and give him the chance to bring them back around. He won't though, he'll sack him and probably try to bring back Allardyce or scramble for whoever gets chopped next.
  10. What do you mean put a stop to them? How have they done that?
  11. Both the Momentum left and the Brexit right are attacking the same thing, just from different sides. The establishment middle. I could not be more convinced that what we're seeing is an ideological assault on Neo-Liberalism despite the fact that most of the people involved in said assault don't know that this is what they're doing.
  12. Fucking hell, had no idea Mourinho was so bitter about him. Will be interesting to see how that plays out next season, but it looks to me as though Mourinho is slipping these days.
  13. Sunderland's relegation is about 5 years in the making, it's mental that they've clung on as long as they have. That said, they're going to throw the kitchen sink at staying up in the January transfer window. And presumably they'll get M'Vila back then.
  14. Yeah they don't seem to think very much of Watmore. Pickford is held in quite high esteem but I reckon they'd keep him no bother. Clattermole would stay. Probably about his level these days anyway. I reckon Rodwell would probably stick with them too Much as they'd hate that. Borini would be off I reckon.
  15. Palace seemed to have turned a corner now mind. Not sure they'll finish below any of Sunderland, Boro, Hull, Swansea and Stoke.
  16. Oh yeah. What song did we play to antagonise him?
  17. I'm not pro or anti Israel, I just want to look at things objectively. Israel is a murderous state that appears to have embraced Darwinism in its foreign policy approach with its neighbours. I also don't believe in a two state solution. I don't think it'll ever work because neither party wants it to. I think the British and Americans carved up Palestine without any proper consideration of the political consequences, and I think that there was a politically forceful Zionist movement in the UK especially for this. I am aware that a number of shootings were carried out by Zionist terrorists in the early days of Jewish resettlement, and that they eventually became dominant over the Palestinians through force. At least based on the sources I have read. I can't remember the name of the book but I'll post it later if I remember.
  18. Aye, and that tweet saw the councillor immediately suspended with a quote by Corbyn suggesting that all Labour party members who are anti-semitic are immediately excluded from the Party until an inquiry is commissioned. Not sure what else he needs to do, really.
  19. I guess that's true. It does all rather feel like a distraction though. Corbyn is the first non-Zionist sympathetic leader Labour have had in some time, right? It's a natural stick for his enemies to beat him with. I wish they'd all just stop squabbling and get back to attempting to put on a united front, but it looks like the course has been set already. The press will spend the next 4 years making Labour look disunited and rebellious.
  20. Yeah it'll be the same sorts of jobs he's always had. I reckon he might get Stoke if they dispense with Hughes. Maybe West Brom post-Pulis. Someone like that.
  21. All that tells me is that Corbyn doesn't believe Labour has an anti-semitism problem. That's not exactly anti-semitic. He's entitled to his opinion, and to be honest, if he came out and said they did, what exactly do you expect the press would do then? Far better to just tackle it case by case and generally play it down. It seems to be a very small number of individuals who are even being caught up in this.
  22. Aye, Bruce genuinely isn't that bad. I thought he did alright with Sunderland as well, before it all went to shit. His Sunderland team were the last one that wasn't absolute shite, I think.
  23. Be interesting if they got Allardyce back, but would he even want to go? If I was him, I'd take the year off. It's not like he'll struggle for jobs in future.
