  1. We are as well... fucking hell, that's a depressing thought.
  2. I thought it did finish him off mind - Hillary was cleaning up in the polls a week ago. It's these additional revelations that are pulling him back into it. On that front, I think it would be fair to say that people only pay attention up until the next bit of news.
  3. Remember how much they crowed when they signed him? And how we were just jealous when we laughed at the fact they'd paid £10m for him? Have to say mind, their signings have been atrocious for so long now that I struggle to think of any decent players they've had recently. Was Gyan the last one?
  4. HF man, what we're seeing is Stockholm Syndrome on a widespread level. I rather fancy your attempts to inform on things that people should care about are failing to make their mark. What we need is for the establishment to come out with something along the lines of promoting the widespread devouring of children. Maybe genocide. Higher taxes for middle income people. That kind of of truly horrendous thing. Otherwise, well, you're talking about things that have no impact on us well-to-do types. We expect our politicians to meddle in the Middle East. We expect them to manipulate voters. We expect them to cling to control beyond democratic principles. We expect them to fuck the country up for the sake of a system that disproportionately benefits those at the top. And because we expect it, people won't look at it rationally and think 'yeah actually, WHY do we accept this?'
  5. I assume I'm included in this, and want to point out that I was indifferent on the subject of privacy and have been outraged precisely zero times by Hillary Clinton as I just expect this shit from the establishment. That being said, there's a difference between the state's privacy and our own. I'm not impressed by the developments about rigging Palestine but as Chez says, that's nothing new for the those who perpetuate the system. Does make clear that Hillary is a Neocon hawk though. What do we make of these latest FBI related issues? The democrats seem to be up in arms.
  6. I mean, you'd expect our foreign office administrators would know all that, but even so it's an amusing sentiment. I rather fancy that the reason London keeps asking is that they're desperate.
  7. It's a good read actually although I don't think it tells us anything we dont know. Nice to see someone on their side calling the club's handling of Johnson for what it was.
  8. Anyone have this? Got it this weekend. Good multiplayer as far as these mass player shooters go. Gritty and nicely themed.
  9. I've got a couple of friends who work in A&E and occasionally wonder about the things they must have seen...
  10. Don't they have pairing solutions for that? I don't want to sound unsympathetic to the private lives of MPs, but people will die in our name because of this abstaining...
  11. Amazed CT and Essembee didn't make the cut mind...
  12. Great article and aye, impossible not to like the guy
  13. Who cares, we won. Brighton killed Norwich and who the fuck knows what's happened to Huddersfield. Yeah we're no further away from Brighton but we're more entrenched in the auto-promotion slots. Good day.
  14. He was just walking around with a smile on his face before he went off
  15. On RTG I've seen him referred to as 'random letters'.
  16. His father is quite possibly one of the biggest morons I've ever seen, so it wouldn't take much intelligence to outdo that. The rest of it, well, if you're happy with that state of affairs then keep voting for it. The really interesting thing is that the 'proles' aren't happy with it anymore - and they seem to outnumber the rest of us. EDIT - also worth noting I'm not outraged. Just increasingly incredulous that people accept this sort of bullshit. Stockholm syndrome or what?
  17. Khazri falling over the ball and conceding a free kick was also pretty impressive. Arsenal look good tbf. I'm wondering if watching us play lower division teams for a few months has made me more appreciative of them First time I've watched a PL game all season.
  18. Based on the first 15 minutes of their game, the mackems are going to be annihilated today. 1-0 already, good play by Arsenal.
  19. Really interesting story about a British lad who went over there to fight in a stateless military organisation against ISIS. He was killed over the summer, but honestly, he sounds like a really brave lad and I have a lot of respect for what he did: https://www.theguardian.com/world/2016/oct/29/isis-wasnt-about-killing-people-what-drove-british-farmer-syrian-frontline
  20. He's a lot more intelligent than his father, that's for sure...
  21. Yeah I noticed her. Wasn't gonna mention it...
  22. That's nowhere close to being a good reason, but on a cold, rational and entirely post-Brexit based outlook, I can just about see it.
  23. Andy Burnham is in there as well, which surprises me... I thought he was alright? Is there actually any 'good' reason for not supporting this motion? Am I just getting carried away with my naive hyper-leftism? Surely these MPs haven't just decided to score points domestically versus Corbyn over the lives of fellow human beings elsewhere in the world?
