  1. Fair, although we're nowhere near nazism returning to power on the evidence so far.
  2. Aye it is. Clinton in particular but the general change in his rhetoric hasn't gone unnoticed. It'll be interesting to see where this ends up.
  3. Maybe, but Brietbart has started criticising Trump now for broken promises... A lot of people in the comment sections under those articles sound pretty pissed.
  4. I don't think that's a good thing. This means that he clearly doesn't believe that Bannon is the alt-right. Which means everything Bannon believes is still on the table. All he's effectively doing here is de-toxifying the guy.
  5. Actually, yeah. You're probably right.
  6. That article makes it sound like it was an open secret ffs...
  7. Actually suspect you're right on the IT side. I've got one who'd give yours a run for their money though. We hired her for a basic data entry position, boring as fuck but important for what we do. She's been with us for 2 years and has only only spoken to people when forced and literally can't make eye contact. She came to the last one and it was painful to watch well meaning colleagues interact with her. Our FD made a sterling effort but she only responded with single word answers all night. I make a point of saying good morning to her each day and she justs says 'Yes'. But other than that the IT guys will be worse in general.
  8. At least we'll know what he's about though. That might actually be a first in politics.
  9. This seems like it's going to rumble on to cover a few ex pros, the stuff that went on at Crewe with Barry Bennell. https://www.theguardian.com/football/2016/nov/22/steve-walters-andy-woodward-crewe-alexandra Seems like child abuse was rampant through most circles a few decades ago, given everything we seem to be turning up these days...
  10. Except Bannon. But otherwise yes, I can see where you're coming from more clearly now.
  11. Fuck off Boris. I honestly can't believe how much I despise that guy. Unbelievable that May has put him in the position she has.
  12. That probably is the correct response here tbf.
  13. Do you really think that's what'll happen? It'll totally challenge my view of what the establishment is if so; which would be really interesting tbf. We'll see I guess.
  14. I struggle to speak with -some- of them. It's not the kind of business where being management means people are scared of you or anything so I get on with quite a few people, even outside of work - the problem is that I tend to get sat next to the socially awkward graduate who has just left uni and struggles to look up from their dinner plate.
  15. Have to admit I'm a little curious!
  16. Going to the Botanist with work this year. I find Christmas parties a bit of a nuisance since I'm the only member of management young enough to be considered capable of staying out long enough for everyone to be happy, which means I have to see the whole thing through, pretty much. Also depends on who you get sat next to at dinner, some of the people I work with are very quiet and socially awkward, which is fine but a bit of a challenge if you're wanting to enjoy yourself.
  17. Wow. Although quite why PSG feel they're worthy of any manner of respect from British authorities over and above any other institution is another matter altogether. I can see why they're put out but it sounds like they knew this was on the cards for the past 6 days.
