  1. These are exactly the sort of non-conventional sex acts that we're looking to ban in this country. Down with this sort of thing!
  2. I see. I was wondering why you'd decided I was overweight for a second... checked my post to see if my bum looked big in it.
  3. Not really in the spirit of the game though, is it
  4. I wonder if we should just have a thread of suggestions like this that we could pin and link people to when they come asking. We could use this one once it's fully played out.
  5. It should, aye. I reckon they could even manage it if they presented a united front across all political parties (save UKIP). But they'd need to be able to put something else on the table that took the sting out of immigration. I'm actually starting to think that it would be in the EU's own interests to start talking about this as they're running the risk of losing more than the UK. If the EU staged a climbdown on immigration somehow, or the UK government was able to offer the Brexiters some manner of policy to counterbalance the immigration point, it'd have legs. Those are two tall orders though.
  6. Inevitably. He should be the last one allowed to leave the country ffs. He should be down with the fucking ship. The whole Brexit thing can just fuck off now I mean ffs, if the rats are leaving that should tell you everything you need to know.
  7. Is that just such a good post that it needed to be shared twice?
  8. So they're pointing to the fact that there's going to be growth? Even though it's less growth than we would have had otherwise? Desperate stuff. I think in a more pragmatic sense, every time the standard of living drops noticeably, we (the 'elites') need to point out that this is because of Brexit. If we do that every time, they'll either listen or kill us.
  9. Cattermole getting sent off early is a surprise mind.
  10. How do people end up being so hateful...
  11. We have to move the money across periodically anyway as most of our sales come in USD (so we need to bring it over as operating capital). Just thought it was curious that it was such a large amount this time... no longer curious. EDIT - Ah I get it now, the forecast is for next year. Hence 'forecast'. I guess the other assumption I had at the time must be the one that's playing out then. Dividends must be due.
  12. I'm kicking myself for not buying dollars before Brexit. I was talking to one of our finance guys about it the day before and discussing how losing £100 or so in transaction fees wouldn't have been the end of the world... I'll know for the next world changing event, I guess.
  13. Which explains why I've just had instructions to move a six figure sum from our USD accounts to our GBP one...
  14. Yes, middle England and now the Working Class. Why do we even bother. As a caveat to this though - I've heard Tories argue that the debt is rising because of interest and that the Tories have been working on reducing the deficit. Is that true? That would give them some justification here and would suggest that austerity hasn't been entirely for nothing.
  15. £220bn!? This is going to be a redo of the 2008 recession isn't it...! If the plan for tackling this is more fucking austerity, we're going to end up electing a party of the far right. I'm calling it now.
  16. Freak result or are you dominating the league anyway?
  17. I think they'll sack him if it looks like it does now coming into the final third of the season. It's tried and tested for them as a way of getting out of it.
  18. A problem for them and a good thing for us though, right?
