I thought Ant had decreed that we were ceasing the abusive thread titles Their hoodoo has worn off, no?

2-1 for me. This will be a good test IMO, in terms of viewing how well placed we'll be for next year. Not that I expect Hull to be there next year, but still.

You're the Australian sounding one, right?

Alan Pardew - Poltroon sacked by a forrin team
Rayvin replied to Kid Dynamite's topic in Newcastle Forum
Palace fans talking about the possibility of Hodgson taking over from Pardew. I bet that'll sting Pardew...- 10610 replies

Moussa Sissoko signs for Spurs for like £30m or WatEVA
Rayvin replied to Park Life's topic in Newcastle Forum
They have Not sure which I'm enjoying more... I keep checking on the Spurs forums to see what they're making of all of this, and it's fair to say that the shift of public opinion is now firmly against him. 'Worst panic buy I've ever seen', 'Someone needs to be sacked for this' and '£30m ffs' all feature prominently as sentiments. There are the odd couple who are still clinging to this sentiment that he'll come good and that we would have been relegated much sooner if he hadn't been here as long as he was Also quite like the comments about how we're never happy unless the whole team, board, and everyone to do with the club is a geordie. A good number of them are seeing sense now tbf.- 1745 replies

Is that praise or criticism? I'm supposedly seeing this tomorrow but I have wiggle room to get out potentially. Should I go?

Aside from the standard point about how concerning it is for 'religious faith' to guide decision making, she could not look less energetic and confident if she tried. I have a question that I've been mulling over for a while for some of the older members on here I guess - I was first politically conscious during the Blair years, and while I don't agree with a lot of what he achieved, I think it's impossible to consider him as anything other than a very capable politician and a statesman. Brown was not quite as strong for me, but still good. Since then, we've had people leading the parties who looks worlds away from the same level of capabilities (both Tories and Labour) on those fronts. Was Blair a one off or has our political class been bottomed out?

Presumably this is all about the recount in Wisconsin. He should be backing this like nobodies business, its his get out of jail free card.

Alan Pardew - Poltroon sacked by a forrin team
Rayvin replied to Kid Dynamite's topic in Newcastle Forum
He stayed quite a bit longer than I thought he would mind... But yeah it's a good post. Pardew is actually very consistent, it would seem.- 10610 replies

Alan Pardew - Poltroon sacked by a forrin team
Rayvin replied to Kid Dynamite's topic in Newcastle Forum
Makes you think he actually could do a job for England based on that. Given that the FA seem to be attempting to moderate expectations and broadly kill any sentimental attachment people have to the team, Pardew would be a perfect fit.- 10610 replies

If he stopped forcing himself into the papers, no one would even give a fuck about him.

Sounds a good shout. As much as I hope Burnley surprise them it seems doubtful. Decent effort by them so far though.
