  1. Wikileaks are going after Trump for not releasing his tax returns despite his promise to do so:
  2. It does actually yeah Pretty sure everyone on here would take that though.
  3. Dunno like, the man is a legend over there now. They're unlikely to go down and it'd be such an unpopular decision. If he takes them down they become a laughing stock I guess but if I was a Leicester fan I honestly wouldn't give a fuck. Not after what they did last season.
  4. Come to think of it, I think I recall reading something about how all his wives, associates, anyone he comes into contact with - has to sign some manner of NDA with respect of Trump himself. So yeah, that's probably tied up.
  5. He is a billionaire... Money does matter at the end of the day. She probably has to sleep with him what, 4 times a year? If he can still do it at all? And in return she lives like a fucking queen.
  6. I really enjoyed Fantastic Beasts. Not even sure why, but it was very gratifying.
  7. Maybe this is why Ashley thinks the way he does tbf. Too much football manager.
  8. 9 times out of 10 I would have been.
  9. Maybe but most of his supporters aren't in and around DC. Do many republican presidents hit Obama's numbers?
  10. Yes, but not on Battlefield, if you know what I mean Will try to be on tomorrow though.
  11. I'm of the opinion that we need to treat these people like children a bit, and let them 'win this one'. And then be on their side next time.
  12. I think that just highlights that this is a pan-Western issue, not one specific to an individual state. The Neoliberal consensus is dying on its arse. We need to be ready to put forward policies that actually improve people's lives when the next chance to do so comes.
  13. I loved Bane's speech in that It always bothered me that they didn't make him stick to that sentiment. The film would have been an epic story of establishment vs anti-establishment if they had. Batman would have been turned.
  14. Is rioting the same as protesting? ... maybe riots work though.
  15. That has to be just virtue signalling. I can't think of any other purpose to it. I suppose people might find it cathartic...
  16. Unsure about that one. And either way, they didn't prevent the war.
  17. Fair enough, I concede. Agree with the idea that it could be different these days though.
  18. Yes but he became a political figurehead for the protests. There's no one in a similar position at the moment, I don't think. That said, you're totally right in principle. I think I just meant these thrown together marches that never really seem to accomplish anything.
  19. Sounds like there are a lot of protesters around for his inauguration. Has protesting ever successfully achieved anything? I don't think I've seen it work a single time. But I'm sure there must be some that do...?
  20. I fully accept that I'm not going to persuade anyone now but in one last effort I'll make a better pitch. FYI it's £10 on PSN. Background to the game: https://www.theguardian.com/technology/2016/sep/06/rocket-league-psyonix-online-sports-game-football-motor-racing-combat I strongly doubt anyone who enjoys football and gaming would regret playing this. Faster paced and far more satisfying (IMO) than the conventional football sims. It has a formal league table and ranking system with pro-gamers at the top and everyone else attempting to work themselves up through the tables. They have formal statistical breakdowns of player populations in each rank, live streaming of tournaments with commentators and actual budgets, strong developer responsiveness to player needs, etc. I'm on 480 hours of playing time so far. I think the reason it's so addictive is that how good you are is entirely down to you. You don't get better cars, accessories or anything - you just get better. And thus you improve in rankings. It's otherwise a level playing field. No they aren't paying me - I just want people to play with on PSN (I have it on both Steam and PSN now). This was one of the recent tournament finals - skip in about 1 min to see the game:
  21. I know it's annoying but it's exactly the sort of thing they should do. They should use any competitive advantage they can. And (assuming Shelvey is fit) it won't save them anyway.
  22. Is it not going to be a bit too easy for them though Trump is being parodied and made fun of by everyone - I'm not sure he needs any satirising! The trailer is good though
  23. No significant/statistically relevant weaknesses. Which presumably means we don't concede the same types of goals very frequently.
