  1. So this reads to me like a solid confirmation of the sorts of things we already knew? The CIA's whole hacking program effectively leaked to the world. I couldn't read all of it (it's massive) but what is meant by zero day? Is that like some kind of remote device shutdown. I caught the bit about turning them all into spying devices.
  2. Have you looked into it yet? Anything interesting in there?
  3. This isn't the killswitch one, is it?
  4. It doesn't look like it'll happen but it's a shame to see one of the few players who genuinely gives a shit not being able to make the grade.
  5. All of that is going to be cut off at the knees by the reality that Short won't let them reinvest the full sum of funds raised from player sales. And even if he did, they'll get a combined sum of about £20m for the first six players you've mentioned. They'd have to sell Pickford as well, surely, so they can get something like £40m to spend. Also, their scouting is an abomination. They're not going to buy anyone remotely decent, they never do.
  6. Aye but doesn't it feel longer than that? His posting frequency has decreased at least. For instance the belta minge thread hasn't appeared in ages!
  7. Been wondering about MF myself. I think his purpose here was to take the piss out of CT, he stopped posting when the flounce happened.
  8. It arrived after Darlow fucked something up a few weeks back iirc. A miskick that led to a goal?
  9. Dunno actually, I kind of hope they go down so we don't have to play them. Rafa is far better at unpicking courageous attacking sides than he is at unpicking Sunderland style sides. I'd prefer the PL to be more full of Huddersfields than Sunderlands.
  10. But this is exactly why they needed to go down. They've needed to for years. The prestige of being in the PL isn't enough if you aren't going to compete. We were in exactly the same boat in truth, but we actually had a good team (arguably) last year. Our problem was McClaren utterly failed. Their problem is that they're just not good enough, I would argue as a club, to actually be in the PL.
  11. Yeah, not thinking it's likely - was just trying to frame their plight against something familiar. They look fucked to me. Even if they sell their better players, there's no guarantee that any significant portion of the money will be reinvested.
  12. I reckon they have a squad about as shit as Villa did when they went down - so if they manage to raise and spend about £60m, they'll be in about the same position as Villa are presently. EDIT - Probably with Bruce back in charge as well.
  13. I'll google it, see if I can independently verify it outside of the normal channels...
  14. What exactly does telling someone they're a cunt over the phone prove that doing so over the internet doesn't?
  15. Agreed - if papers other than the DM supported him then that should be commonly known as well. Maybe it is though, could just be my ignorance here.
  16. It does, aye. Appearances matter a great deal to some people. Can't imagine that PM was easy though.
  17. Not sure I think the Chronicle counts as the establishment MSM in all truth. The Daily Mail was pretty pro-Hitler as I understand. To the point of having to have purged history of copies of articles they had out at the time
  18. I thought failing to pay up in charity bets was pretty much the 'unforgivable sin' on this forum?
  19. Genuinely don't understand how that rumour got traction. Spurs fans seemed to make it up out of desperation once they'd realised that Sissoko was every bit as shit as we said he was.
  20. I reckon if the squad can just keep their eye on the prize for another 3 games, Brighton and Huddersfield will break down and we'll be uncatchable. I am starting to worry for Brighton though, I think Huddersfield are going to catch them...
  21. Tbh, I was simply reflecting what I've read other people say - I'm not sure if I can remember him saying anything along those lines personally, but no smoke without fire and all that.
  22. Expect us to win this following the other two. 2-1 to us.
  23. I dunno, a decent number of people on here seemed to really dislike him as well Largely because he was racist if memory serves
  24. I was reading through a Huddersfield forum yesterday and some of them have seen this. I recall one poster making the observation that on the rare occasions they broke through, by the time the player in question looked up, 5 black and white shirts had sprinted back to position themselves between him and the goal. Some of them can see how well we defended. Others think that the possession stat means this was a freak result. I suspect we'd get a very similar result if we played the match again.
