I understand. In the long term I think it'd be an economic boost for Ireland, but based on what you're saying about underinvestment I can see the more immediate challenge. Presumably then it's best for everyone at the moment that you don't leave the union?

How raw are the wounds there? Is it one of these things where over time, each generation will care less about what went on and eventually people will come together and agree that it's a good move? Also, why do you think they wouldn't want you? Same reasons?

What is the argument against a united Ireland?

You must have been sat somewhere near me then..? the ballboy copping criticism for not being sure where to throw the ball when we were trying to get back in it, right? If so then yes, there were a number of people around there just screaming abuse for a good portion of the match. Not sure if the players would have been bothered but I felt for that poor lad. I thought that Gallowgate crowd were good but I don't go often enough to know for certain I suppose.

What do Labour do when they go? That's it, surely? The Tories will have everything left sewn up.

Yeah seems to be varying a bit. I guess it's close enough to be worth going for though. Best of luck to her, frankly.

I was under the impression that support for a second referendum was at a low ebb right now? Sturgeon must be confident about winning that particular fight I guess, but didn't Theresa May basically bait her into this?

Agreed, nothing looks wrong there at all. Nothing like unbiased commentary from those around you

https://www.theguardian.com/world/2017/mar/13/dutch-voters-netherlands-election-wilders Dutch voters abandoning the centreground now. “Voters simply no longer trust the traditional parties to look after them,” Krouwel said. “And in times like this, people who feel vulnerable, who are angry and worried, want to feel taken care of. They are drawn to an alternative party.”

We were in line with it and my mate was adamant it was but haven't seen any replays.

What was the primary reason given? Housing issues? Rent prices? Unemployment presumably...

FFS. Actually that's more infuriating than anything else, why the fuck should he be let off with that kind of lying?

All of this said, swapping out Diame for Murphy and going two up top might have sorted us out in terms putting away a few more chances but we still conceded 3 goals, none of which were Diame's fault. Fulham attacked us exactly like we hoped they would, and it should have played into our hands. Individual errors seem to cost us more than anything (save the first goal which, from memory, was just a good strike).

Steve McClaren sacked as Newcastle United 'Head Coach' (Manager)

Wow. I mean the guy sucks at managing football teams but that seems a bit trigger happy from Derby. -
Fraser Forster or The Scottish Football Thread.

Did you delete your other post or is KCG filling in insults for you now? -
Diame was next to useless. Didn't press, didn't get stuck in by any measure. Two up top could have worked tbh, but we were just firing long balls up the centre with Gayle desperately trying to outjump people a foot taller than him. Pointless.
-
Annoying from us. Nothing worked, nothing came off until Murphy was on and we had some threat.

Would you rather they weren't there? Neither of those links undoes, for me at least, the importance of what they do. The first one I assume that they were sloppy about deleting all the cc numbers. The second one isn't news to me because I read what they actually said (via HF) and thus didn't assume they could read whatsapp like the rest of the media. Anyone who went to the source instead of the media would have come to the same conclusion IMO.

He looks mortified.

That's just depressing. Absolutely superficial nonsense and that's what we judge our leaders on.

They probably do tbf. Not that any of them would admit it. Do they have a match thread for this game yet?
-
For different reasons though. EDIT - I can't be sure of that actually. I assume last time around, with Foot, it was about actual socialist ideals? This time around it was more about rattling the cage of the centreground and forcing them back to the left.

Do you reckon they'd be trouncing the Tories then? Presumably considering that what's happening to the Dems is an isolated issue?

We're fucking stupid, we really are.
