  1. Yes but that actually breaks in our favour. Stupid people voted for Brexit, and will, hopefully, stay the fuck home for this one.
  2. Corbyn has the right policies in a time where no one gives a fuck. It's unfortunate. Even if he stood down now there isn't enough time for Labour to get its shit together by the election, so we're going to have to hope for the best.
  3. That's a silver lining actually, the MSM should be well fucking up for this.
  4. Apparently Labour have said they would support it, so they'd have to contradict themselves. But yes, they absolutely should reject it.
  5. Do you think the Tories will go back to portraying Labour as requiring the SNP to make a government, and that this will in turn ensure that the 'will of the motherfucking people' will be undone? i.e. the fear mongering that won them the last GE?
  6. Yeah I didn't think so either, but hope springs eternal.
  7. Any chance she could use this to U-turn on the direction we're heading? As in, the Tories could maybe come forward and say that actually, the direction they want us to head in is a lot softer than has previously been suggested..?
  8. Howay has definitely been the main optimist Not a surprise at all.
  9. We stand no chance here unless Labour can sort out its message on Brexit to marry up with the Lib Dems and the SNP. Maybe we can get a majority that way... the SNP wouldn't even need to be actively involved, they could just sit on the sidelines and be trusted to vote the right way. I don't think the fuckers can rely on the same turnout as last time, and at least UKIP is in disarray. But still, not looking good. EDIT - plus Corbyn would probably have to come out and say he wouldn't be the PM.
  10. BBC suggesting that a June 8th election is being announced... one source though, not confirmed.
  11. It will get rid of Corbyn but at the cost of utterly devastating the country - it's going to be hard Brexit for sure. God damn Cameron, he's fucked everything.
  12. She does need Labour to agree though, she can't just do it unilaterally.
  13. The Guardian seems to think that the fact Downing Street isn't making an attempt to correct the rumour that it is an election, despite the pound collapsing, suggests that it is almost certainly an election. FFS. If Labour has any sense, they won't back it. They don't though, so they will.
  14. There was some suggestion that this might be done so that each party could make a case for their vision of Brexit though. May has perhaps concluded that the Tories are fucked if they deliver the ramshackle Brexit they're putting together without a clear mandate to do so from the populace. If this is a snap election, it's a buck passing exercise. From her to us.
  15. I mean, unless we're about to declare war on someone (which is highly unlikely given that Trump hasn't officially done this either, and that our statement would never be out before his) I can't think what else it could be. She might be resigning I suppose? Wild optimism but still
  16. Oh ffs, that's the last thing we need right now. Corbyn is so far out of the game that we may as well call it right now.
  17. The most optimistic one would be interesting I guess?
  18. Putting to one side the fact that he's an arse of the highest order, apparently Terry is prepared to remain in the PL next year. Any takers? https://www.theguardian.com/football/2017/apr/17/chelsea-john-terry-leave-end-of-season
  19. Birmingham's board have royally fucked their season it has to be said. Weren't they 5th or something when they sacked Rowett?
  20. I think Ant banned the idea of a return to offensive thread titles?
  21. Sometimes I actually start believing that you guys think the title makes a difference...
  22. Extremely unimpressive. We're going to be promoted but only cos huddersfield are nearly as poor as we are at the minute.
