I hadn't actually seen the video of that... wow. That bid to get a laugh at the end as well.. ouch.
-
You have to do it with enthusiasm and conviction though. I'll make sure I tune in for it
-
I'm not actually sure how it works either, but I think it might be as simple as one like on your post = +1 rep.
-
Please do that...!! Just once!
-
I note that there still hasn't been an announcement about Corbyn not attending Is he leaving it late for dramatic effect?
-
I saw the transcript of that. Painful really.
-
I've been tempted to give it a try myself with rocket league as its quite a watchable game, but I'm just too lazy to set it up I'll try to tune in when i can though.
-
I watch a bit of twitch streaming here and there anyway, so I'll try to drop in. Are you going to make a regular thing of it?

It's definitely a cue for the decline of the American world.

Not sure this is going to cut it from May: Q: [From Sky’s Faisal Islam] If you are so strong, and Jeremy Corbyn is so weak, why won’t you debate him tonight? May laughs. She says Corbyn seems keen to be on TV a lot. She says she is more worried about preparing for the Brexit talks. Q: Don’t you think public scrutiny is important? May says she thinks it is. That is why she is taking questions from voters during the campaign. She says she feels sorry for ITV. Corbyn snubbed their debate. She says debates where politicians are squabbling amongst themselves do not do anything for voters.

True. He decided on fucking over the entire world.

Ah, May has bottled it.
-
...Ok. Well I'd be stunned if he didn't but what do I know, I'm not privy to the Labour campaign
-
No chance he'll U turn this one, was formally announced and a big deal is being made of it now. Set in stone.

"I will be taking part in tonight’s debate because I believe we must give people the chance to hear and engage with the leaders of the main parties before they vote. I have never been afraid of a debate in my life. Labour’s campaign has been about taking our polices to people across the country and listening to the concerns of voters. The Tories have been conducting a stage-managed arms-length campaign and have treated the public with contempt. Refusing to join me in Cambridge tonight would be another sign of Theresa May’s weakness, not strength." --Corbyn

He announced it about an hour ago - The press is currently running with it all over the place so I'm not sure how you missed it Threw down a challenge to May as he did so. Bold move, which I'm now going to worry about for the rest of the day
-
I suspect Rudd will now be trying to phone in sick tbh, unenviable position she's in.
-
They haven't issued an immediate response mind. She won't go, I agree - it'd be just another example of her flip-flopping.
-
They're worse than the US ones. The US ones could at least claim that Hillary would have done fuck all for them as well (since her campaign had nothing to do with their issues). These people can't claim that about Corbyn. Actively voting against their interests.
-
Anyone know how good Amber Rudd is at debating?
-
There is no way May is going to agree to do it. It'll be damaging for her not to, but it'll be an absolute clusterfuck for her if she attends.
-
Corbyn doing the TV debate tonight. He has to be bold tbf to him, but I'm dreading the thought of Farron fucking this up for him somehow. You kinda trust the Greens to know which side their bread is buttered, and Nuttall is a fuckwit, but Farron could see this as a chance to mount some kind of bid to boost his ailing campaign now.

This is exactly what I think.
