To what end though? What would they have to do to inspire trust from your mate?
  3. HF mentioned Obama spent his way out. Don't worry, Corbyn's in good company on this.
  4. Aye but I guess you can't have everything...
  5. Aye, and Labour were wrong to follow the Tories down that line. Unfortunately, the media bought and paid for the narrative, so all political parties had to bend to it. I mean, the Tories see it as their core ideology, but the LDs and Labour should never have followed them. Which is why the Labour Blairites were punished in the leadership election.

Yep, the long game. We obliterate the ideology by perverting its people with our own culture. Sex, money, greed and decadence will do for Islam in the same way it did for Christianity.
  7. Vote Labour and the government get them all back again under renationalisation
  8. You can be if you go solar. You can even sell the energy back to the grid. Requires some initial investment but supposedly has itself paid for within 15 years or so.
  9. Middle England is being eradicated by the Tories as well. This can't go on forever... https://www.theguardian.com/business/2016/jul/19/middle-income-families-poverty-ifs-report
  10. QFT. Austerity is directly responsible for all this madness.
  11. I see what you're saying but at the same time, these same young people won't be able to afford to buy houses, have unstable incomes, and zero hours contracts. Little risk to them because they're already suffering through what you've just outlined the consequences of 'the economy in difficulty' to be.
  12. Oh I see. I don't think Corbyn is gonna be in number 10 on Friday but yeah, it'd be good if that happened and he released it. As for foreign states owning the UK, it's just Thatcherite Neoliberalism taken through to conclusion. Don't worry though, it made a lot of wealthy people even richer.
  13. If it is highly critical of Tory policy with respect of Saudi Arabia, and they intend to continue pursuing this policy, we will have voted to continue supporting a rogue state that actively tries to destabilise us through terrorism. If they release it on Friday I'd be appalled. If they don't release it, I'll assume they're all culpable and guilty as sin.
  14. https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2017/may/31/sensitive-uk-terror-funding-inquiry-findings-may-never-be-published-saudi-arabia Cameron had previously given assurances that it would be published: https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2017/jun/05/tim-farron-terror-funding-report-published-cameron-lib-dems So yes, you can question the resource issue, but the government is here actively playing down the role of a state that funds terrorism because it is politically inconvenient to them. How is that going to keep us safe?
  15. What about the report into Saudi funding that the Tories are presently actively suppressing?
  16. She is just... does she have a personality at all?
  17. Also horrific Although he didn't talk in this one, so it's less horrific IMO. I can't imagine being the guy who writes that song though, he must have fucking hated himself for it.
  18. Yep. Remains to be seen whether or not anyone actually listens though. Might all be worth it in the long run but it's too early to tell.
  19. Because you're looking at the people, and not the plight. The vote for Trump was an attack on the establishment because they just wouldn't listen. Hence his hugely negative approval ratings the day after he took office. Apparently for the powers that be to pay attention, you need to elect people like Trump.
  20. Also, I've read a lot of stuff about this funding of terrorism report and how the Tories are trying to prevent it being talked about and published. How on earth, in this climate, are they getting away with that? Especially when Cameron claimed it would be made public. I think we all know -why- they don't want it to come out, but seriously, how is it even legal for them to do this? They're withholding information that could ultimately save lives, by giving the public an opportunity to reject the way things have been done before.
  21. ... That is quite possibly one of the most painful things I've ever seen.
  22. IMO it's all going to come down to Momentum. If they can get the Youth vote out, we stand a chance. If they can't, and this is another election the same as all the previous ones, then at least young people only have themselves to blame.

Kill them all! To hell with due process and the rule of law, let's incite people to violence and vigilante justice.
  24. Yeah, Trump is a Big Mac and Fries kinda guy by all accounts.
