Ffs, is this the kind of thing we could get penalised for in footballing senses? Also likely to kill off any interest in the club in the short term i would've thought. I fucking hate Charnley.

More proof of the coming of the inevitable from the Legatum Institute here (a thinktank committed to the principle of free enterprise / Neoliberalism). Even Tory voting British people think we should be nationalising public services... http://www.li.com/activities/publications/public-opinion-in-the-post-brexit-era-economic-attitudes-in-modern-britain

Huh... fair enough then I guess. Still seems a bit off, but maybe I just like a good whinge at Sky. -
Nice! I'm hoping to get over 300 this week tbh, especially with the Raid to complete and benefit from. I need a regular team for the Nightfalls I think - getting there with that though. I can't do them well with randoms, it's too hit and miss.
-
What are they going to do then? How are they going to balance this? They're actively choosing to generate less state income by pursuing Brexit, so surely the only option left is to save? Or to go full Corbyn and borrow to invest.
-
Fully agree - there'll be nothing left for Labour to save. Fucking Tories. Incompetent and Irresponsible. We'll have years of slowly slogging ourselves back to the point we just abandoned, while the world moves on and evolves around us. It is so infuriating...
-
More austerity then. I mean, the Tories have literally nowhere to go here. They have to go for more austerity, which is the prime reason we're leaving the EU anyway. So they'll hammer services, the NHS, the poor and the vulnerable, because it's the only way to make Brexit stick. It's the reckoning that all those who voted for Brexit deserve in some senses. Exactly what they were warned would happen by none other than George fucking Osborne. This will inevitably mean Labour will get in.

Just thinking to myself - what if the Tories gave up on Brexit and campaigned for a second referendum - and Labour stuck with it. What would the Daily Mail do?

Sky are planning to schedule our away game against West Ham on Christmas Eve. 560 mile round trip, the day before Christmas. How long before we have live football on Christmas day, I wonder. https://www.theguardian.com/media/blog/2017/oct/05/premier-league-christmas-eve-west-ham-newcastle-arsenal-liverpool-sky-sports -
Also worth a watch in there is the video someone posted in the thread of the two ironman runners who literally have to crawl over the finish line
-
I bet you guys have it done before 3 weeks have passed though.
-
I'm pretty sure a competent team can do it in a night Don't read anything into my clan's struggles. Tbf to them, as I said, their second run took them 3 hours.
-
Ok so, I've reached 299 now. Our clan has completed the raid in 3 hours this week, so it seems they've settled on a capable team now. I've got a slot for a run on Saturday. Anyone done the nightfall this week yet?
-
The mail ffs.
-
There is also a thread on there about how they should join the Scottish leagues. I'm not sure if the OP is serious or not, but it might well be something for them to think about!
-
I think at this point their whole team is their weakened side. Could only be improved by adding non-playing staff.

"We have the guts to be something different" Anyone who is taken in by the Tories' complete and utter nonsense is flat out not intelligent enough to be voting. I'm sorry but it's true. I can accept people voting for them our of self interest, but anyone who believes the shit BoJo comes out with is just being irresponsible by voting. On a positive note, that has to be, surely, the end of May. Please fucking be the end. She has been an unmitigated disaster as we all knew she would be because, shocker, she's wildly incompetent.

It's an investment firm mind... presumably her aim would be to make us more valuable. Turn profits as well. I daresay she has access to far superior commercial people than Ashley, but even so, the model might not change much. -
What the fuck does he know about Catalonia? Why is anyone listening to this weapon ffs!!
-
It goes without saying what we all think of him, but I can't get my head around how someone can campaign for what he did, and then fuck off into the sunset to rile up the yanks. Why isn't he here, sorting this out? This was literally the reason for his political existence.
-
We won't get all 30bn but even if they're talking about 1bn it would cement us in the top half. Time was it would win you the league, but... Wonder who the other two clubs she has an interest in are. Spurs maybe...?
-
If we get single market access with freedom of movement, I agree. Although if we do that then we may as well not have bothered with the whole thing. I like freedom of movement CT. I use it a lot and aspired to be able to move overseas one day. Now I'm not saying that if Brexit was going to deliver a great deal for people more hard up than me, that we should stay in the EU just for my freedom of movement. But with the absence of any tangible evidence of living standards likely to rise, I feel it is acceptable for me to complain. Did you see the report Renton linked to a few weeks back about how the treasury concluded that households would be about £4k/annum worse off? I'll feel that.
-
There will actually be some positives with Brexit. Surely. They'll pale in comparison to the negatives, but there must actually be some benefits...
-
Not sure I agree that the guardian comes up with a slant to appeal to it's readers. A slant to piss them off maybe...
-
Yeah it's the start of that speech that really gets me tbh. "I hate to tell you Puerto rico..." as if that's something they should be ashamed of and which they are directly responsible for. He is such a hopeless human being. That fuck he seems to be as ineffectual as he is incompetent.
