  1. On the basis of what, will the takeover happen? Long way to go yet on that front, and we've heard nothing in two weeks now. I suspect Ashley will stick to his guns concerning allowing the club to spend what it makes. With the TV deal, this might be enough for Rafa. Don't think we'll go down even if he leaves though. You would hope that Ashley can see the financial value of having someone decent in place.
  2. Aye this is it. One of the good things about the Labour grassroots hijacking is that we can say it really isn't the same party as it was. So all this stuff about "Well the last time Labour was in power" rings hollow to me. And even then, Blair would never have let the shitshow unfold that Cameron did.
  3. Yeah fair enough but that was pre-melt down, the Tories have had 7 post Armageddon. Still no change. Corbyn clearly would change it.
  4. The lawyer used should have a record..?
  5. I'll happily concede that the Tories have done less damage to the middle east. They've done a fucking load of damage to the UK though... And Labour under Corbyn would not be fighting illegal wars and trying to destabilise other countries. I blame the Tories for the financial Armageddon too, given that the system was all Thatcher's idea.
  6. L1 takes you left, r1 takes you right. You also want handbrake on square.
  7. R1 and L1 should be kept for air rolling. Will help you land wheels down from aerial travel. I have boost on circle.
  8. Ok they don't have cross plat-party creation yet, although it's coming in the new year. This means I'll have to smurf. I'll try to be online tonight but if not then tomorrow for sure.
  9. The independent is reporting that the DfiD staff have been told they're getting a new boss though..
  10. The BBC now following her car down the road in a helicopter WTF is going on?
  11. Was just thinking that myself Thank fuck I'm not in the open plan bit of our office.
  12. I have to say mind, the press literally tracked Priti's jet through the skies. Updates about her Whatsapp status as well. They clearly think this will be huge.
  13. "[Patel is being made a scapegoat, it is not credible that the Foreign Office knew about these meetings but Downing Street did not. She left for Uganda after apologising and being told that she was safe - now they are bowing to pressure. She is going to be pretty angry if she is sacked and she could do some pretty hard damage to Downing Street. No 10 is being naive, the prime minister will create an even bigger problem for herself if she sacks Priti."
  14. Ok will try to join you - we can go over the basics.
  15. What will Patel do, I wonder... surely she's not going to take the fall for this if No. 10 knew. Might even be criminal if she did it on her own...
  16. Seriously, how much of this shit can the government take before it's on its knees The end must be in sight now, surely.
  17. https://twitter.com/MarcusDysch/status/928207754866712578
  18. The announcement of Marouane Chamakh is particularly brilliant
  19. Basically confirms that May doesn't have the authority she should have though. Weakness is rampant in the government, how can anyone expect that they will be able to deliver any manner of successful Brexit..
  20. I don't quite understand how Patel gets sacked and Johnson doesn't, mind.
  21. I assume he's retiring...? But your post also makes it sound like he could have died, so I'm really unclear on this.
  22. They're being shored up by the Leave vote still IMO... The leavers presumably know that Brexit comes tumbling down if the Tories collapse.
  23. It has to come crashing down, surely. They're not going to hobble on like this until Brexit is through.
