Looks like she might lose Green as well... I think she's fucked, CT. I think the Tories are fucked. Could be wrong, but I can't recall having seen such a shambolic government anywhere outside of South America.
-
Gimme a shout when you're back for this. It's going to be a bit unfair on people we play against since I'm basically a smurf on this account, but eh...
-
Yeah but you'd expect a sense of self-preservation... If she goes, I don't see how a government can be re-formed. I think they'll have to go back for another GE. And on this showing, they'll get their arses handed to them.
-
I suppose that makes sense, but I just don't see it ending well for her.

Why has Theresa May done this, it's going to be a total clusterfuck. Unless she thinks it'll kill off Johnson. I read an article in the Guardian stating that these 'non-story' small issues were detracting from the serious ones, and I think that's about right. People will just think the whole thing has been trumped up to ridiculous levels, whereas there very probably are serious issues to look at here.

Decent post tbf.

... For such a small group of active posters, we have a good mix of thoughtful commentary and just batshit craziness. -
If Fallon has resigned for touching someone's knee 15 years ago, someone who has come out and said she wasn't a victim, and that it is not something that bothers her, then this is fucking stupid. If he's done other things, as seems likely, then fair enough. Either way, I'm tempted to say the Tories will use this as a distraction from the Brexit catastrophe.

Savage.

Agree that Chinese is unlikely to help me over the course of my life. Still would do it anyway if I had to do everything again. Wouldn't be where I am without it.
-
Yeah makes sense. I'm kinda torn on this one because I'm basically ready to buy a house now, but feel that I should be happy in my life before I do, or risk being tied down to making sure I can afford to keep it. But then, the longer I wait, the longer I'm not financially 'free'.

Don't know why you think that would be too late to make a change? EDIT - although I get that you regret thinking that

More like 11/12ths

I'm on the brink of turning 32. But I'm making some rather significant changes in my life at the moment so I still feel like I have options open (until choices get made, I suppose).
-
I could see myself coming to regret this, as I have this mentality.
-
I'm not sure I have any significant regrets yet tbh, but I suspect they're around the corner.

I would love to see that fucknut start from the bottom and see what he makes of himself. My money is on working in McDonalds.

I don't think there are any new ways that it is possible to say how fucking stupid this is.

Hardly surprising, Grayson has been an absolute disaster. I do think they had started playing better though, so it remains to be seen what any subsequent manager can do with them. Surely if they're still in this position in January, Short will have to put some more money in. He can't have them go down twice.
-
Equaliser. They won't lose this man, this has to be their line in the sand.
-
No way... surely they haven't fallen this far. Surely.
-
True, but I note the Guardian is simply suggesting that someone else look into it Tbh they are pretty good at this kind of thing, it's a shame they lose points elsewhere.
