And yeah it's got a large following and a good e-sport community. I've played against a couple of the pro-players. In fact, my Steam background thingy is a screenshot of me beating one of them It's a shame more people on here don't give it a try, it really hits the spot for football esque games for me. Might just be me though. Has positioning, importance of shot power, strength, control, etc. Just hang in there, it becomes immeasurably more fun once you get the hang of the basics and you can really feel yourself improving.

There is nothing we can do or say to Ashley, that will have any impact on anything. If screaming at him will make you feel better than do it, but we are totally powerless. -

It is what it is then I guess. Still don't think we'll go down though. -

It is what it is, let's not worry overly. Still plenty of the season ahead, plenty of time to strengthen in January. Ashley isn't going to risk us going down. -
I dunno why this started but

That is the kind of dedication it requires...

Neoliberalism has all but destroyed the hopes and aspirations of people under 25 in half of Europe mate... And I've said plainly before that I understand the reasons this happened. And cast little to no judgement on that, aside from where it concerns bigotry. My point now is that they should be turning on this, and they're not - so unless you're saying we need to be tolerant of their weakness concerning admitting their mistake, and I can't for the life of me think why you would feel we should, I don't feel as though our positions are different. I didn't say it was a panacea at all incidentally. All I'm saying is that Britain, logically, looking at what we're faced with, is NOT going to be better off out of it. And that the things people thought they were voting for, do not appear to be deliverable. Take the EU itself out of it for a moment - logically, we're in a fucking stupid position. That's my problem.
-
I'm prepared to consider arguments from across the spectrum as long as they make sense - there is no longer any logical framework around Brexit though, as far as I can see. It's just a shambles Parky. Whatever it was, or could have been, the Tories have turned it into a clusterfuck of useless effort. The fact that it is a shambolic, irrational action, defended by people too insecure to admit they were wrong, is something that pisses me off And I've been very clear that I'm pro-EU throughout. I've said I would back a Federal EU project many times over. What I am concerned about is the rational pursuit of desirable outcomes and the wider improvements of peoples lives. Which is a million fucking miles away from where we are right now.

I think it's a solid console tbh. Needs more games but aside from that I'm very happy with it.

You can make multiplayer work on the portable version of the same Just saying.

I really fucking hope you're right about all this CT. Fucking truly I do.

Well it's kept them in power and distracted from their generally farcical handling of the economy. Long term I don't think it helps them but it seems to be for now.
-
The main focus of my ire was not you, but in fairness, you were on here a couple of days ago saying we should cancel the whole thing if we couldn't get a good outcome. If that remains your position, I expect to see you admitting you were wrong in due course, and making clear that you will, if given the opportunity, vote against this lunacy. I don't give a shit if people have been wrong about something, I'm wrong all the fucking time (ask ewerk). What bothers me is refusing to acknowledge it. If you need more time to be able to do this, fine, but one way or another you will come to this conclusion.
-
That sure as fuck doesn't look like where we're heading CT. It looks like we're going to be sold some manner of new initiative, knowing the Tories quite possible called something like "The Market Single and the Union of Customs" which will be totally different to the Single Market and Customs Union *cough* but will allow us to do everything as we had done previously, somehow. While throwing away all decision making powers. And the only beneficiary of this in any real sense, will be the Tory party.

Actually fucking furious after the comments under that article. Willful self delusion. That's all it is now for the Brexit contingent. I'm prepared to fight the corner of anyone who has some meaningful concerns or points to make, but that's not what this is about now for most of them. They're just terrified of having been wrong and too insecure to own it.
-
I've just been reading an article in the Guardian where some Dutch journalist has painted a very frank picture of Britain being shown to be, effectively, the EU's bitch now. And he's dead right. But the comments under it man, I assume from displaced Torygraph readers, basically sticking their fingers in their ears, all saying "Well if you're going to be mean about it, then fuck you, I'm glad we're leaving". Just... what the fuck man. Why are people not waking up to this?
-
I've been hugely tolerant of, and sympathetic to, the reasons this happened - but the longer this has gone on, and the more clear it is that nothing anyone thought they were fucking voting for is deliverable, the more I'm seeing the people who voted for it dig their heels in and carry on as if its all going to be ok, just because they don't want to admit they were so easily duped. So my tolerance ends there. If you're wrong about something you fucking own it, you don't carry on like spoiled children clutching at every imaginable straw and lashing out at everyone else for your own fuck up.

Why have we let people who know fuck all about anything, inflict this farce on the country?

I fucking loathe Boris Johnson.
