Fair enough - I've never been sold on splatoon mind. If you didn't have a Wii U there is also Mario Kart - but it's a rehash so only worth the money if you didn't have it previously. I think the matchmaking in RL prevents you from "getting your arse bashed" - there's no way you should be up against people who have been playing for years. Unfortunately though, the low ranking communities are toxic as fuck, so idk how enjoyable it is down there anymore.

The 4 teams at the bottom are all dire, but Barnsley have put together a run of sorts. 5 points from their past 5 games is a damn sight more than Sunderland have managed. Burton are the same, 5 from 5. Only Birmingham, who seem to be in total freefall, are doing worse.

It has Rocket League. Seriously, I know I harp on about this game all the time but if you don't have it on another format you'll get plenty of enjoyment out of it. Also Skyrim if you didn't play that first time around.

I want to see Neoliberalism pulled off its pedestal and an alternative formed. I don't care exactly how this manifests, but this ideology is pervasive, and has been dragging us slowly to one single destination across multiple governments. We can go back to something that ostensibly looks like Blairism, would be fine by me - but it needs to have more focus on people as people, and not as consumers. Problem is that we're just one of many battlegrounds, and without the EU we'll have to make compromises with countries who don't share these values. So we may be fucked either way now, thanks to Brexit.
