If Labour aren't fully and clearly behind PV2 at this point they should be obliterated at the EU elections. It's a perfect chance since it doesn't harm them domestically but does send a very clear message. What we are going to need to accomplish this, however, is some manner of figurehead for Remain. Not Vince Cable.

Well, not quite. We're contesting the Euro elections. That's a big deal for the Tories. It's going to be incredibly important for us to vote for Remain candidates in that.

If PV2 became clear, we'd get the extension until March 2020. That sounds like the final date anyway - October is better expressed as the date by which No Deal occurs if we still haven't got any semblance of a plan.

It does but does France want to be the country responsible for 'No Deal' all on its own? It seems that the likes of Rees Mogg and the other Brexit psychos issuing warnings to disrupt everything has indeed rattled the EU.

About me personally? Indeed, they won't care. But I was pretty diehard in my support for Labour, and if i can get to this point then it's fair to say I won't be the only one.

Euro Elections it is then. And really, at this point, not reason not to proceed with a referendum. Extension until March 2020 on the cards unless the UK can approve the WA in the meantime. I don't think May is begging for any extension though, she's begging for the one that saves the Tory party. That's the one the EU will deny her. And honestly, I think that without the Cooper bill, it's possible she might have gone for no deal instead. It's a battle won for the Remainers.

Honestly think most of these people are now just thinking about their political careers and the future of their parties. It's a politically viable option rather than a pragmatically viable one. Stupid though because I am personally absolutely prepared to sacrifice Labour to keep us in the EU. I doubt I'm alone.

The Tories have allowed, via incompetence and a leadership vacuum that has spanned a decade, the extreme fringes of society to come to the fore with credibility. I include Corbyn in this to a degree as a consequence in the same way as the ERG. They have credibility because what we have from the 'establishment' is an utter shambles.

That should be a slogan for Remain actually. Something like "look, even if you voted leave, look at the people we have to deliver it. Come on man, it's not gonna be good. It's not your fault they're useless, it's not our fault, but let's just forget it and move on, eh?"

Is that enough time for PV2? Hammond looks like he's desperate to come out for it.
