  1. Definitely an improvement on Gosling Dunno about Guthrie. After all, he was actually a very tidy player and was a genuine stand out performer on his day.
  2. https://vine.co/v/M9M1Tim2g06
  3. Somehow manages to look competent one second and utterly lost the next. His inability to maintain a basic level of concentration is going to prevent him from retaining a first team place.
  4. Another alarming lapse from Yanga-Mbiwa. Was he like this before we signed him?
  5. Enjoyed Dummett utterly failing to be his man more than I should. Tried a step-over, left the ball behind and was unable to reposition himself
  6. Gouffran is not a deep lying forward. Just offers nothing to that role.
  7. Would like a different set penis option to the one which has worked once in three years. Pardew talks to the players like they're 10 year olds who are just learning the game.
  8. If Aarons keep this form up we're going to be seeing an awful lot of him this season.
  9. Bit worried about Krul's chances of being first choice. Elliot is going to be hard to dislodge from between the sticks.
  10. Oh, thankfully it was just utter clownshoes goalkeeping.
  11. Holwing at Obertan's attempt at a 3 yard pass to Sissoko.
  12. As a fullback, yep. Could do with some time in his actual position at some point in pre-season.
  13. Blob crippled with a heavy bout of indigestion and then beaten with ease. Pardew-ball is back.
  14. Colback and a lad who did well as an attacking midfielder out on loan last year.
  15. "Steven Taylor dropping way too early." Yep.
  16. Do not stop those. Do stop the link-up in that area.
  17. Taylor is all over the place.
  18. Pardew wont like Cabella trying to beat opponents and make things happen. WIll stamp that out before the Man City game.
  19. Came in to post this. Has to be considered first choice at left back. At least until Santon returns from injury.
  20. We don't play West Ham in this, just the two games against Malaga and Schalke. #NUFC v Malaga (4-2-3-1): Elliot; Yanga-Mbiwa, S Taylor, Coloccini, Haidara; Abeid, Colback; Sissoko, Armstrong, Cabella; Perez #SchalkeCup

    Golf

I've taken up golf again after a half decade hiatus. Hit the driving range half a dozen times in the last fortnight and completed two rounds at local pitch and puts. Definitely back into the addicted phase of my interest. Spent an hour this morning getting acquainted to my driver again. Took 10 balls or so to realize that I was using my right had far too much on my downswing resulting in every single ball being pushed out high and to the right. Kind of sorted it and I'm starting to believe that I won't be too far away from finding a consistent swing in the coming weeks. Heard on the way home that Sergio Garcia holed 7 birdies in a row to take the lead at the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational. That is one man who I'd love to win a major one day.
  22. But yeah, he looks tidy. Right footed, finishes well into the corners. Can turn and set quickly in the area. Solid first touch and more than capable close control. Left foot is more than competent. Seems to have some aerial ability, with well guided headers in the video. Now I want to know his weaknesses. Seems he blitzed the first 8 games of the season, scoring 6 but then totally trailed off. Would like to know why his form faltered.
