Ive been saying the same thing for a year now and tbh I haven't been arsed to repeat myself since the start of this season. Even when we've won won some of us have tried to point out that that we still havent been playing well and the longer term outlook is bleak but you just get accused of being a miserable bastard and not being happy with 3 points. I'd say no. 6 months ago I would have said yes and use it for a cheap media player but the cost of those is coming down so much I wouldnt now (just seen an archos media player with a screen 3 times as big and a 100gb harddrive for £380). Its actually losing a lot of support as software sales have been so poor so far so your not going to see much in the way of original titles. All the devs are having to spend a lot of money getting into the next gen of home consoles with the 360 and ps3 that it just isnt viable to have another expensive platform to develop for. To put it into perspective for £30 more you could have an xbox 360 so whats the point... Unless you really want those cut down versions of your PS2 games kind of on the go. If the answers yes, which for some people thats all they're interested in, then yeah it does the job very well

not had any problems with mine at all. Doesnt matter which way its stood up the console and power pack dont get warm at all. Its well ventilated like. Consoles nowadays are more like high end PCs and need a bit of space. Of the 20 odd people I know who got one only one has had issues.

it was over here but was still a big success in Japan. The best console for shooters and seeing as the genre is now pretty much dead it wont be beat. Radiant Silvergun, Battle Garegga, Soukygurentai, Donpachi. Panzer Dragoon Saga came out late in its life and while its one of the best RPGs ever it was ignored by most. It now goes for around £100 on ebay. Sega Rally is a great conversion and miles better than the DC one. Im more than happy with my two Saturns.

What I said above was that short of getting a better manager then we are "doomed" to failure in the present climate - thats not defeatist its realistic. As I've said many times a better candidate would make me a signatory to Souness's P45 in an instant but I happen to think that at the moment a better candidate isn't clear. The point on Liverpool is that their history seems to give them the right to expect more than us.
