The experts can't agree. So it will work? Don't play with my emotions. I've got a runny nose.

Film/moving picture show you most recently watched
Happy Face replied to Jimbo's topic in General Chat
Bolt Buzz Lightyear was believable as a toy who thinks he's a real space hero because he comes fresh out the box like that. Bolt is supposed to believe he's a superhero because an entire studio has been dedicated to making him think that since he was born, going so far as to shoot the TV show he stars in in real time including all his super power effects. It's just a kids film, but it's that kind of unbelievable forcing of a square peg into a round hole (as well as the associated lack of originality) that means it's just a good kids cartoon rather than a great comedy for people of all ages. The Hamster is funny though. "I'll get a ladder" -

Fantastic film that. Never thought I'd be so glued to a film where so little happens and the camera barely moves but I completely loved it. yeah it's fantastic isn't it? I'd recommend Floating Weeds & End of Summer (two of his later ones) - both excellent as well. Yeah I'm trying to get a hold of more of his stuff but a lot of them aren't cheap. Actually on looking at Amazon both of those are available for about £6 so if I can't find am alternative method I might give them a pop. www.dddhouse.com All Ozu and Kurosawa are coppers there. Not quite up there with the quality of the Criterion editions like. -

Doesn't help reduce the wage bill/costs either. -
Well if we're going to give credit where it's due then Bruce Haack is the man really. If you say so. There's a documentary called Haack: The King of Techno you might enjoy... http://www.amazon.com/Haack-King-Techno-Bruce/dp/B0007L86HG

In the 2009 Time 100 list of mosy influential people T-pain came in at 34. Barak Obama is 3 places behind at 37. http://www.time.com/time/specials/packages...1886141,00.html

If we're going to talk about most influential albums I think you have to go with Rappa Ternt Sanga by T-Pain. Roger Troutman used electro-vocal effects in the 80's and Cher used auto tune on 'Believe' but they had talent. It was an effect to give a talented singer an other worldly sound. T-Pain was a shouty rapper who couldn't hit a note to save his life but wanted to sing and did. Since then almost everyone is auto tuning the shit out of every track in the charts or inviting T-pain to do it for them. It's abhorrent.
-
"avoid the charts" :dancing: you can syat that again - I doubt the whole list sold more than 100 albums in total.................. Like Sammy says, nothing there is particularly obscure....half of them have sold out some of the bigger venues in Newcastle. You'll have heard a lot of them too, but you just don't know it. Battles are being used on the current Audi advert with the needles for example.

Are you being ironic?

I assume this is top admin work. Danny B doesn't have the sense of humour to pull it off.

Can't see the attendances dropping to 13000 like, even in the championship we should pull in 30,000. I wouldn't shed too many tears if L7 closed and all those from the corner moved a bit closer so what atmosphere is generated gets transmitted to the pitch. I thought the implication was that you'd be glad if non-singers didn't renew? I think that's most of the ground and probably most of level 7 too. You may as well stick everyone in the East stand and shut the rest of the ground. Even the away atmospheres have suffered massively this year imo. Seriously, whose fault is it? It seems there's not many song starters in the East stand or the Gallowgate, but I'm sure there's plenty who'd join in if the miserable bastards around them didn't ask them to sit down and stop swearing. It's probably all Keegans fault for giving us delusions of grandeur 15 years ago. I've honestly never heard anyone object to someone else singing, and I currently sit in the East stand (which is quiet, I grant you). Yet I hear about it on here a lot. Odd. But you've heard people complain about standing and swearing I take it. When the song is "stand up if you love the toon" it loses something when you sing it sat down. -
