Blair's memo to Bush October 2001... http://www.iraqinquiry.org.uk/media/243721/2001-10-11-letter-blair-to-bush-untitled.pdf Section 2 on Iraq is an interesting read showing Blair was quickly on board with the Bush goals and how blunt he was about the challenges to overcome. Nice section (4) on propaganda in that memo too.

http://www.iraqinquiry.org.uk/media/210955/2002-07-23-minute-rycroft-to-manning-iraq-prime-mi-nisters-meeting-23-july.pdf The newly declassified memo that told the Labour cabinet that the facts were being twisted by the US to fit the policy of regime change, almost a year before the invasion.

Aye, but like Hillsborough, officially confirming what we know is important.

Some people might read Parky with some thought of conspiracy theory, so to be as kind as possible, you can look at what Bob Woodward said in his book - Plan of Attack. Woodward is not the antagonistic journalist he was during Watergate, he's now an established insider and based his version of events on interviews with everyone in the inner circle including the president himself. All of these people continued to be interviewed for several more of Woodward's books and have not challenged his version, which he summarised in interview... At a minimum, there were intentions prior to 9/11 and that event offered "an opportunity" to be exploited, without any evidence of any link whatsoever. Ron Suskind is equally as establishment, and his book - The Price of Loyalty - has named internal sources that claim regime change in Iran was the first order of business for Bush in January 2001, 8 months prior to 9/11. Unlike Woodward, although the administration didn't deny his version, they attacked him for publishing it and the character of his sources. Their response was that regime change in Iraq was official US policy from 1998, which it was, but not by force...

Couldn't give a shit about her. Just thought it was crap ad hominem critique you might want to expand on. Lest people think you're an ignorant fucker spouting nonsense.

So much for more iraqis dying from our invasion than allied forces died at the Somme, there was a story about a new restaurant opening in my news feed yesterday. :s

We stopped off at Ullswater today on the way to Chester (zoo). Had a Burger in the Sun Inn. Pooley Bridge is nice. Don't think I'd been before.

What's the "true sense" of racism? You don't need to be a curb stomping Nazi. Things like opposing affirmative action, or insisting that reverse racism is now a greater concern would fall into the same bracket as claiming immigrants can offer no benefits. It's clearly not as overt as the actual racially motivated abuse we've seen increase since the Brexit vote, but comes from the same fears, anger & jealousy some of our gutter press have stoked. Of course there are legitimate questions to ask about the sustainable levels of immigration the country should have to cope with an ageing population whose skills are being moved from trades to the call centre. But that is not what's happening when people say no immigration is good immigration. I've posted previously about the dangers of blaming everything on the racists myself. Greenwald's article I posted in it's entirity was particularly good on that. Claiming no immigration is good immigration is an ignorant view that it's correct to disabuse or ridicule though, rather than a huge part of the problem.
-
SEW never said anyone who disagrees with him is racist though. He said the 27% of people who think that immigrants can offer no benefit whatsoever to this country are. He was then accused of being a huge part of the problem. As if opposing that view is the wrong thing to do and ignorance should be left unchallenged for the sake of the status quo.

The first few Hardcore Histories on WW1 convey the slaughter of the battles in the first half of WW1 very well. Blueprint for Armageddon... http://www.dancarlin.com/product/hardcore-history-50-blueprint-for-armageddon-i/ The whole series is well worth a listen. Basically a free audio book.

Aye. The sonos app let's you link to dozens of different services. You can't use apps and throw music to the sonos. You have to use the sonos app and link to whatever accounts you have.
-
It does, aye https://www.spotify.com/uk/sonos/ Won't let you use spotify without a premium account though and I'm using tidal so haven't actually done it myself.
-
The new play 1. doesn't need the bridge so you can just add 1 speaker at a time.

Gift from work. Really like the phone/PC app which integrates all your streaming services, radio stations, podcasts and your own collection into a single search.

As I say, those coming in were mainly Chinese and Indian too. I'm only providing counter arguments to your "tidal wave" Daily Mail patter. On that note, following your received wisdom on Labour, there was a 6 fold increase in net EU immigratuon to the UK between 1993 and 1996, so the "flood" started on the Tory watch.
