Side by sides with a lot of the film references

That's a Roman coin on top of a photo of the earth man.

Finished stranger things. Best bit was when your boy rang the science teacher creased.

All the coolest cats know about the pokemon craze but are above joining in. All the youngins are at it, as well as the none cool cats trying to hang with the kids. The old farts are 2 weeks late and shouting "pokewhat?" with a horn in their ear.

CT's probably closer to most politicians than anyone else on here in terms of holding a consistent principled view tbf.

Totally cynical, can't see it working, but it might. I find myself wondering if he'd be a better option, even while fully aware he's pandering to the left so that he can run for the middle ground once in. I'm not in the labor party though, those that joined solely to vote Corbyn won't switch well they? No matter how much he panders. Why vote for Corbyn lite if Corbun is there and won't pivot after the result.

Love the "Under the Skin" setting when El goes in the water chamber. Among the millions of film references in it that must be the only one from a film outside of the eighties.

Is this not a strange thing for someone who fully endorsed austerity to say? Thought your view was that Labour overspent when they ploughed money into the NHS and caused the crash so we had to tighten our belts and live within our means?

Most people on here strike me as far happier ridiculing such things. Plenty on N-O will mind

VHS? Don't get that, but anyway... Agree on Oldboy, if you've not seen it, you should. It's one of a loose Trilogy based on revenge though, so you could start with Sympathy For Mr Vengeance and finish with Lady Vengeance by the same writer/director. Of his other films, the only one I would recommend is JSA (Joint security Area) which looks at a military incident on the North/South divide. Memories of Murder got mixed reviews on here. Think I found it a bit too slow, but the writer Director went on to make The Host, a Godzilla style monster movie which was much more fun. Brotherhood is a good (if far fetched) North/South war film. -

Are you sure? The ones who like it on here seem to be all the massive smackheads. Buttoned down, level headed folk like Gemmil and KCG have no time at all for it. Need the @@StraightEdgeWizard to make the call. -
Nice link you lunatic. I think we can trust the randoms on Facebook that are mates with coppers who tell them stuff on the quiet to get an overall picture on crime trends better than that gobbledigook.

I've never read any Irvine Welsh. Never thought he was for me as I've never done the horse. I doubt i will any time soon either, but I'll add some to my Goodreads and the best intention will do for now. -
4 people at mass? If that church was a post office it would have to shut.

Won the argument and 3 episodes in to Stranger Things. It's a page turner like.

Very interesting, Gypsies viewed twice as unfavorably as Muslims in some countries and more unfavorably overall. Poorly educated people in the uk twice as likely to think that diversity makes things worse than those with more education. Only 5% believe most Muslims would support ISIS.

Agreed, the suicide bombing is a better indicator. Not sure they have their best man on the job in Ansbach. It's clearly a concern, makes it all the more important to maintain the case that muslims, christians, atheists and right minded people of ANY belief are united in opposition against such heinous fucks. Would be disastrous to alienate more of the thousands of Muslims fleeing oppressive Islamists, by telling them that their religion is the root problem with ISIS and by extension they themselves are the major contributing factor. It sounds like he was tipped into action as he was refused asylum and was to be deported. Could be that he took whatever chance he had at a long planned attack, or that as someone who had twice previously attempted suicide and spent time in a psychiatric facility, he made a snap decision to act rather than go back.

Up to date on House of Cards. Loved the last line, despite it all getting a bit 24/Homeland in terms of plucking storylines from the headlines. Would move on to Stranger Things next, but fear I'll be arm twisted into catching up on Walking Dead before starting something new. Hope the most recent series isn't as much of a ballache as the last few.

Let's go with what the investigators say in each case... in this instance.. Ignoring his logic (it's flawed because nail bombs have been used by the IRA, neo Nazi's, hooligans & communists to maximise the impact, it's not something unique to muslims at all) he has at least made the Islamist link that was completely absent and being played down in the Munich case.

Congress hasn't been offered a vote on a war in decades. Presedential signing orders have become the norm. It works on short term things and new laws can't be passed like that i think, but certainly claiming a state of emergency what with all the Muslims and Mexicans and banning their entry shouldn't be too difficult.... Unlike the logistics of sending the existing Muslims and Mexicans anywhere.
