Did I say that out loud

Even if their actions restrict the choices that you can make? I can restrict my own choices while nobody else does and there'll be no effect, or the government can restrict everyones choices and there will be an effect. If there was no law against it, I'd choose to not pay for anything and walk around bollock naked masturbating into the faces of attractive women on the metro. The government restricts my choices for the common good every day.

I staunchly believe it's the governments job to save the environment. Not mine.

It wouldn't be changing everything overnight. It would be akin to a new insurer entering the market. Suggesting it'll create chaos is part and parcel of the scary language opponents/lobbyists use. Telling existing insurers they need to reform themselves...or not...and we'll see how they get on in 2 years or whatever isn't reform. It's no change at all. Anyway, the white house have said they'll support Reid though it's not what they had been pushing for.

It's a shame really. The first album was mint as was the subsequent E.P, second album was gash, third album is gash. But I suppose the original appeal of a down to earth, witty band is lost now they are just a bunch of millionaires, the music is bound to be different. First album lost the edge the demos had for me. One man's ... and all that. The interest in the Arctic Monkeys sort of passed me by and I never got it, must be old age. But I came across this a while ago, from the head of their record label posted on another forum in July. Oh and something by Broken Social Scene. Got The Feelies back catalogue recently. Superb.

A purely nationalised system is nowhere near the table though, let alone on it. You agree a mix is required...then argue in favour of the insurance industry regulating themselves, just so something gets through. This would also serve to extend their profiteering and doesn't ensure the reform triggered down the line goes much further. That's not to say I don't see the logic in being certain that a diluted package goes through, but I don't see a better time for real reform that can stick. Any democrat voting against it is certain to lose a lot of votes at the next election. The lobbyists this time around are inadvertantly doing more to push the public option than to stop it. http://www.nytimes.com/2009/10/16/opinion/...OGLE5VTatypORiQ Canny article in the Guardian yesterday too http://www.guardian.co.uk/commentisfree/ci...ion-us-congress Politico report Harry Reid has announced he'll be including a public option. http://www.politico.com/news/stories/1009/28761.html

Soft shit, let your inner woman out It's cunting, soppy piece - of - shit - cartoon where some bloke flies off in his house or something. I can just see the lads at Pixar (or wherever) sitting there sobbing as they tweak the frame rates and over lays....It will probably seel loads of copies at Chrissymas and droves of women will buy it for their hubbies like Vietnam never happenned, like agent orange is a kind of chocolate fruit shaped treat...Like millions aren't dying around the world for a lack of clean water...like gawping - crying and feeling good about yourself is the new Babylon, like buying another hot dog (giggle "aren't we naughty) is the epipahy of the week or was that the moment you got a car with heated seats? Screw this shit and every other high budget cartoon for adults and load up many B52's and put us all out of our collective plastic miseries. Aye. Mary Poppins, what a crok of shit that was too. Flying bitch with a brolly. And The Wizard of Oz. That had a flying house and a whining whore. Cynical cash cow shit, all of it. -

There's Redheughy Lewis and the News loitering. Come on, it's been almost 2 months since you posted. What went wrong with your exclusives? -
That's reminded me of Harry Hill playing the donkey on TV burp this weekend.

Hughton saying in the journal he'll appeal the red card. Can't lose.
