  1. Just had the Coconut bread toast from the Dill and the Bear breakfast menu that the bairns left this morning. Basically 2 massive slices of cake with fruit and yogurt on. Gorgeous.
  2. I corroborate Gemmil's view of the exodus/trakt combo. Set up lists on trakt for him, her, him and her, the kids, the family etc. Fill them with the appropriate shows and films and you're set for months..... Years. Mint that you can add recommendations to trakt when you're in the pub or wherever and someone recommends something and they'll be in exodus next time you're choosing what to watch on the couch too.
  3. "I gave everything for this club" I try not to join in with the piling on to him too much because for £2m i believe he's been outstanding value and performed well sporadically enough to offer the most valuable overall contribution of anyone in our squad... but he can fuck off with that shit.
  4. half the pundits on SSN thought they might too. I've never had a football dream for years, but I dreamt last night that we had lost to Cheltenham in the cup, sat second bottom in the league and the crowd were turning. Woke up thinking hopelessness under McClaren would have been more bearable than dashed hopes with Benitez. I've cheered up now, but we best put a run of wins together sooner rather than later.
  5. If we did get £35m for Sissoko, our net spend since 2007 would be £30m A third of a Pogba.
  6. My "3 minute pop" playlist, probably the best smart list I've ever made It incorporates all the tracks under 3 minutes and 10 seconds from my "2016" playlist, my "5 star" playlist and my "unplayed" playlist. Gives a good range of old and new, favourites and discoveries, and it rattles through tracks at a good pace. Spat out... Paradise Here Abouts - Howe Gelb Au Port - Camille Soma - The Strokes Dreamt Person v3 - Venetian Snares Have a Talk With God - Stevie Wonder Lord Have Mercy - Schoolboy Q
  7. Also watched Hail, Caesar. Could feel my eyelids dropping later into it. Nothing to criticise about it though. All top notch performances and a funny story, just wasn't belly laughing at any of it. Kermode and Mayo totally ruined "Would that it were so simple", but the payoff when you see him deliver the line on the dailies was probably the biggest laugh.
  8. Since the comic nerds are in full swing, I watched Ant Man over the weekend. The comedy sidekicks were fucking atrocious. Does the comic have a demographic ticking black man, mexican and european helping antman be antman? The baddy was a shite Lex Luthor looky likey portrayed more emotionally unbalanced than a double hard evil bastard. The Bad Boys style police partners chasing after antman are a cheesy 80s style duo already lampooned to death, but presented here without humor. Despite those negatives, it was good fun otherwise. Phoebe's lad is likeable in anything he does. Michael Douglas is always watchable and the "Big" finale being played out on a Thomas Tank set was very well done. Didn't get half the stuff about captain America and the Avengers having not seen most of these films, but i just let that go over my head and it didn't bother me.
  9. Just started singing the chorus in the office, making myself "LOL"
  10. Taylor started 5 games up to and including Rafa's first against Leicester. His rare appearances after that say more about his ability than the lack of match fitness he acquired in that run AFTER his injury. He'll have been devastated to see someone as ordinary as Lascelles come in and take the captain's armband as well mind. He was desperate to talk his way into the captaincy for years. Carroll broke his jaw because he was a prick too.
  11. Didn't Lascelles keep Taylor out of the team in the Premier League?
  12. Think it would be rash to make wholesale changes with too many swaps for the second game on the basis of underperformance. If Rafa has given them a bollocking and made it clear the standard he expects then they should get the chance to react. If you rush into dropping players and the replacements don't make a big difference (I didn't see a big improvement after changes during the game on Friday) then you have no legroom to make further changes and you've fucked off your whole squad after 2 games. Most I would do is bring in the new signing. Diame for Colback. We controlled the game for the most part, just lacked any incisiveness around the box. At home we'd have got those decisions and been more attacking with the same players.
  13. Not sure him staying would be much good to anyone... other than the headline writers... Sissulker!
  14. Most of your opinions are 2 separate things. Your're the toontastic Schroedinger's Cat.
