  1. Puma might object to the press release for their sponsorship being used to thank Adidas for being so good to us like.
  2. Yesterday Birmingham City announced a deal with Xtep for £7.1m which will last 5 years. http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2010/ja...ponsorship-deal Fucking Xtep!?
  3. You always say that in every thread. I'm discussing it here with a few people because I've got a child and have been through these issues. The knowledge base about vaccinations now is in the public domain like never before so it is discussed more. Unfortunately NOBODY can give the correct ans regarding a bad vaccine episode...Which can devestate a child and family for life. You always spout baseless bollocks in every thread though. I'm just providing a balance. There is a genuine concern about vaccinations for children, there is nothing baseless about that. Most aspirin brands state death as a possible side effect.
  4. Not the same service though? Thats just an online shop and they dont do chilli almonds As far as i can tell, Graze is an online shop where you don't actually get to choose what you're buying. Exactly! The anticipation of what will arrive is part of it! (its like lovefilm but for food - no, not pizza) I'm in the wrong business. Who here wants to send me £3 a week and I'll send you something in the post. It could be a tinned product on the turn, or it could be a wanking tissue. The possibilities are endless. Talking about money for old rope reminds me, a lad at the match was telling me last night that people go on ebay and pay £250 for a thousand facebook friends, or a few thousand xbox live gamer points. Unfuckingbelievable.
  5. I don't see how twice as many nurses being in favour of the vaccine than are against it is any kind of illuminating evidence in opposition to it. Well because the pressure on direct patient care staff to get vaccinated is immense. Do you see? I'm afraid I still don't. A minority of nurses (probably the ones that read the Daily mail) refuse the vaccine. A minority of nurses drink excessively, smoke and have VD too.

  8. Looking at the picture it's hard to make out the weight, but it looks like you get less than 150g for £2.99 at Graze. Go here instead.... http://www.hbsfoods.co.uk/acatalog/ where you get similarly dried tidbits from £1.56 a kilogram.
  9. I enjoyed it. Gilbert Gottfried did the best version.
  10. Sounds like the food weighhouse are sending out the scrapings of their barrels at a premium.
  11. A Chinese woman is having trouble with her eyes, so she goes to see an optician. The optician looks in her eyes. The Chinese woman says, "What is the matter doctor?" The doctor says, "You have a cataract." The Chinese woman looks astounded and says "No NO I have a Rincon Continental."
  12. Anyone watch that More4 doc on anti-semitism? Looked interesting. Think it's on my V+.
  13. The porn baron has taken a controlling stake. They're valued at £105m... http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/t...utd/8464631.stm "Myself and my partner David Gold will be honest with the fans about the books, the imbalance of the squad and the crazy wages the Icelandic owners paid out that has brought the club to its knees." Relegation looms.
  14. Just that one about Ameobi on the bus.
  15. First time the crowd has dipped below 40,000 since September.

  17. Best move to the costa del sol where you won't be forced to integrate.
  18. Mr. Loven Loven, Mr. Loven Loven, Krands, Mr. Loven Loven etc. [/shaggy]
  19. I see you have opted out of the other thread Noelie, where I provided the link you asked for where the club was geared up to win the title that you said had never happened. Never mind lad. As you criticised the Halls and Shepherd for running such a shit football club that qualified for europe more than any other club bar 4 over a period of 15 years, you really should stop complaining now that we are rid of them and things are soooo much better now. Give it a rest man you belligerent old bastard. What are you like at the match? Stranger: "Shit ball that like" Leazes: "Aye well you shouldn't criticise Shepherd"
  20. Arent we in year 3 of their 5 year plan? the same plan that will see us competing for "everything" a la Villa and Arsenal? Look life is a delusion, we're all deluded, even if am told the right things and it's a lie, it's better than being told we don't know what the fuck we're doing. Close enough... "I never said I was an expert in football clubs. I tried my best. But I accept my best was woefully short.” http://business.timesonline.co.uk/tol/busi...icle6879373.ece
  21. In 2006 the average player salary in the top flight was £13,000. In June 2009 Premier league salaries went over £1 billion. Without more details and working on 20 squads of 22 players, that would average out at £43,706 per week*. Obviously a lot of squads are a lot bigger than that and the top four or five squads will use up the majority of that salary. I'd say Simpson would make a very average Premier League player. *EDIT: More simply put, £1.2Bn between 20 clubs equates to an average wage bill of £60m in the top flight. Ashley seems intent on spending just over half that. Yo-yo's a go-go.
  22. Apparently Simpson is asking for £15k for the season remaining rising to £20k if we're promoted. Only our best players will get £30k.
  23. Just 'new signings'? What about re-negotiations for existing players? Fuck's sake man is Ashley trying as hard as he can to discourage interest in signing for NUFC? What a complete cunt You know as much as i do from the article, but I don't imagine he'll renew anyone asking for more than £30k.
  24. According to the mirror this weekend there's been a £30,000 a week wage limit brought in on new signings. http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/news/Chris...icle290327.html That equates to £35m a season for a 22 man squad....if they were all on the maximum. By a strange coincidence it also matches the current wage bill exactly....if you believe what you hear. Suggests to me we won't be signing anyone this window unless one or more of the higher earners are sold. Geremi and Butt are out of contract at the end of the season so that'll free up some cash. But I wouldn't expect to replace Ameobi with £30K a week next season either.
