About £91million. Down from about £100m the year before....when running costs had been about £120m.

Can't see us being in the Top 20 for 09/10.

Never normally agree with you Parky but that's spot on, you've summed up this thread in a nutshell. Renton, it must keep you lovely and warm that smug, self delusional but satisfied feeling of superiority! if i was LM i would suggest its all down to a university education!! Come on Axeman. Nick Griffin is the most intelligent man that supports the BNP, and he's thick as pigshit.

Buddha and Hiltler we're both lazy. One started work at 11.30 and still took 2hrs for lunch and the other sat under a tree all day. I knew they both liked the swastika, but i had no idea they were the same person...and you.

I don't like the term protest vote. Suggests we're stuck with Labour/Tories no matter what. Voting for either of them opposes just about every principle I would have if I wasn't so lazy.

What's the word for that? Solipsism?

Better that he takes it out on the bottle than the sodomised canine population of Sunderland.

Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It) will. We need a smiley that shows both sides of it's hand then does the little fist pump trot.

We won't need to, we have team spirit* and Chris Hughton.** * If you don't agree Alan Smith will stab you. ** Until Christmas

Why's Colo not played up-front if he can literally fly?

Spoon - Girls Can Tell I only jumped on the bandwagon when Gimme Fiction came out so I've been getting the earlier albums. Love it as much as the later stuff.

I wouldn't worry about it. The NME was shit when I was a teenager. They gave Best Solo Artist to Robbie Williams FFS. Brightest Hope went to Starsailor and best Pop went to All Saints.

"planning".......... according to wankers like Renton and Baggio a few years ago, this was the key to a golden future the likes of which Fat Fred and the Halls had never delivered You could not make it up if you tried. Talking bollocks and comparing me to Baggio now, nice one . All I said was it would have made sense to plan for Robson's replacement, rather than sack him 5 games into a season with the transfer window shut and no replacement, hence ending up with Souness. See, this is an area I have mentioned before, at the time, and was roundly condemned by clever dicks like you, but I was and still am correct, when you harped on about this "planning" business. The ONLY thing that matter is getting a manager who gets results ie knows what he is doing. Did you say the same thing when Gullit was replaced by Sir Bob a handful of games into the season ie "bad planning" You spout complete bollocks as usual Renton. i think renton's post is spot on tbh. don't sack a gem of a manager like robson when there isn't a better alternative. i think even as fat fred's biggest fan, you would admit that he got that one wrong. souness replacing sbr for me marked the beginning of our current plight. excacerbated by the fact that fat fred backed him to the hilt. hmmm.....well, I remember - at the time - the team being booed for finishing 5th in the league and a growing feeling that Sir Bob was starting to get things wrong and needed replaced. Still, I expect some people will try and deny this is true. If that was the case in May, why did he wait another 4 months until September and let Robson overhaul the team?

I'm struggling to set the resolution. It should be 1920 x 1080 but it seems my graphics card won't support that. Which graphics card should i buy? I don't play any games, I just use the PC for Itunes, internet and email but i would like to edit HD video (.mt2s) in Sony Vegas. The monitor has an HDMI input to so I guess an HDMI out on the graphics card is called for too. You can get a decent silent MSI one for about £35 MSI N210 Cheers, I'll have a gander. Looks like I'll need to check how much space i've got to fit it into.

Regardless of the rights and wrongs, the key fact is that we have an owner who CAN do this. We also have an owner whose wealth will continue to grow as we come out of recession. This is far more favorable than being sold off to a dodgy sheik or skint barry whatever his name was consortium. Ashley to learn from mistakes and take the club forward on a sound footing with decent investment (not hysterical Shepherd buys as those days have gone) would be the best outcome. Weren't you Mr End of the week all summer? Hoping for a sale? Yep Why? If Ashley is far more favourable?

I still sit next to a lad at the match who got well into my ex. Can't imagine a ho coming between the lads and the football. But then I didn't have any bairns by her and have it splashed over every front page for a month. -
2 tickets for the Sterephonics on Monday. Not sure why. I've not liked any of their albums since Performance and Cocktails, it's in the shithole arena, and tickets were an outrageous £30 a pop. They get the crowd moving though.
