  1. http://jeffreyarchers.blogspot.com/ Indispensable for Archer fans. With typical self congratulatory stories of little to zero interest, such as "Someone generously paid £4,000 for the privilege of having tea with us" and amusing self promotion like "[my new book] is going to cause considerable interest on the sub-continent, not least because the true story is an obvious candidate for a Bollywood film."
  2. I've stolen Rob's crown?
  3. My bookmarked blogs are... 4. How safe are even the safest seats though, if turnout increases dramatically? The majority of people that didn't vote last time, who're angry enough to vote this time are going to turn away from the two leading (most corrupt) parties.
  5. You will have the kudos of being in the consituency of the PM one day. I'll be beating the fanny off with a shitty stick.
  6. 0.012 The average UK voter has 20x more voting power than voters in South Shields.
  7. IIRC, this would have been the setup he had to work under when he was coach at Tottenham. He may be used to this already... You mean when he was coach under martin Jol....who Damien Comolli undermined out of the job? Just because he's seen it before, doesn't mean it works. Spurs only started their current revival after Comolli was sacked along with Ramos and full control was returned to the manager.
  8. To be fair, we all take out insurance. By that token, wifes death = profit. Of course, Goldman were taking life insurance out on the wife knowing full well she had a tumor the size of a beachball on her abdoman....and stopping her visiting the doctor.

  16. Was he in idols dressed as a sailor on Saturday?
  17. Incredible to me anyone would care what he says....especially when he's responsible for 90% of tittle tattle in the papers.

  19. Which constituency is it? He's an 'out of towner' if that's what you're getting at Just wondered if it was one of the 3 closely fought constituencies in the north east. In South Shields I'm happy to vote Green, safe in the knowledge that voting on principal might reduce the margin of the labour win, but it's not going to do Cameron any favours. I'd be happy for leazes to vote BNP/UKIP in South Shields too, but in (say) Tynemouth I'd really have to think about it more carefully because too many votes for 'other' could see the tories steal a valuable seat. How very big of you.

  21. Hot Tub Time Machine Got into a free preview yesterday and I thought it was canny funny. Nothing incredible, but up there with the best gross-out comedies like There's Something About Mary and Dumb and Dumber. Chevvy Chase still isn't funny like.
  22. Maybe the editor took her off covering Newcastle after her online breakdown.
