This is what I can't understand. When Babayaro accepted being paid handsomely for sitting on the bench we called him worse than muck. Harper has been criticised for accepting a stand-in role at Newcastle for 10 years. Last season Mancini said Given was one of the best 5 keepers in the world. He made him Captain. His attitude is plainly right. Why would the fifth best keeper in the world accept sitting on the bench when he's got limited time left in the game?

Can't find it in me to say a bad word about Given. Can't see why anyone would blame him.

looking at his stats (you love those HF) its not the case hes been getting a reasonable number of goals and assists He is? In 178 appearances he's scored 26 and supplied 19. A goal or an assist every 4 games. He might be mint. I've got nowt to base it on personally. Just saying what my uninformed first impressions are.

Which is why you should stick to general chat. I stopped watching it 5 minutes in after seeing only one assist and one goal. I thought youtube was supposed to oversell players.
