It's funnier this way. -
Tax on the goods and services they pay for will rise exponentially because of the amount of tax income lost from the wealthiest people, so the poor will be FAR worse off. Only the wealthy benefit from that proposal. Lower income earners would be worse off if there was a flat rate rise in taxes. But as I've already said, if VAT was implemented properly it would be a much better system. What do you mean 'properly'? VAT can only be added at a flat rate Shirley. JD Rockerfeller would pay the same amount to the government as Joey Boswell if that were the case.

The people who will definitely benefit are; * People in debt * People with low/no disposable income It's seems much more logical to give people their earnings and let them choose how to spend it. Although I think you might be slightly confused on what the Tories stand for, they want a smaller public sector and larger private sector - so they want to collect less tax. I've always viewed the two parties as; Tories = lower taxes for less services Labour = higher taxes for better services. I would love to know the thinking behind that. It seems to be about as wrong as its possible to be Lower income tax will increase disposable income. People in debt can therefore choose to pay off their debt. You really don't understand this tax thing do you Please let me know what field you are earning your 70k in. I am thinking of a career change It's like saying Pakistani's are currently benefting from global warming with the easier access to water it provides.

Leeds, Portsmouth, Rangers,- you're right - ambition is a great thing you're happy going back to the Westwood and McKeag days then and wish the Hall/Shepherd days had not happened. ? This constant references to Leeds don't half make me laugh. Would any of their supporters say they would rather have stayed solvent and been a yo-yo club than reach the semi finals of the European Cup ? At the end of the day, its all about having memories to look back on in football and take success when it is there. Who the fuck wants to remember decades of nothing but underachievement, like you appear to wish. You don't half spout some shite sometimes Rob, and you should know better. I'd rather be Portsmouth - at least they got to win the cup aye. Show me a pompey supporter who said when they won the cup "we shouldn't be enjoying this lads because in a few years time we will be in the shit". Laughable. Man U have won 3 leagues, 2 cups and a champions league in the last 4 years. Protests against the owners are more vehement than at any other club.

They didn't even get anything translated into German.

Who's left to remember his previous disruption? Taylor, Harper and Ameobi. The little shit would be a brilliant addition. Even if his wages are £90k a week, a year on loan would cost what we spent on Butt's wages plus what we paid for Perch.

Leeds, Portsmouth, Rangers,- you're right - ambition is a great thing There's a difference between spending within your means and overspending. Look at the spending from Premier League teams who got less than 40 points last year, or got promoted.... WOLVERHAMPTON WANDERERS £16.5m WIGAN ATHLETIC £9.5m WEST HAM UNITED £5m WEST BROMWICH ALBION £2.3m BOLTON WANDERERS £1.6m NEWCASTLE UNITED £1.5m BLACKPOOL £0 We're being far tighter than any of our competitors and it'll lead to relegation.
-
Of the six teams to have spent less than us, one was promoted with us and will be relegated. Most of the others finished top half and none were in any danger of relegation. Hughton's in cloud cuckoo land though.... http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/news/Newca...icle550057.html The managers we'll be involved in a relegation scrap with have dwarved our spending.

Poor people need porn too. If only to take their mind off being unemployed and uneducated.

To be fair, it's difficult to find an old fashioned CRT tv in this day and age.

Sorry, it's a bugbear of mine. I purposely use 'borrow' and 'lend' the wrong way round. It's what all the kids do to wind up the squares. Like when something's good it's 'bad'. Get with the times grandad.

I'd suggest taking up Halifax's Clarity card and using it for all your holiday spending...... I've got a Santander zero. Although there's no interest if you repay in full, the rate of interest could reach 28% if you didn't and there's a £10 charge if you don't use it for 6 months. It's only available to existing customers but the Halifax card seems to beat it if you want to pay off your holiday spending over a few months at a lower rate......or even better if you want to put your spending money onto the card then use it while abroad without the worry of losing your currency or getting it stolen.

"what we got here is a little game of show and tell. You don't wanna show me nothing but you're telling me everything."

If only some Villa fans had turned up at the stadium with badly daubed bedsheets, the meeja would have a bit more of a circus to whip up over it.

No, I got £6 off my next order.
