The CGI in Inception is minor though. Most of the effects were done in camera. I thought the pacing was incredible. One of the best things about it is that last 45 minutes that just drives on and on . Incredibly tense. The saddest part of it is that he'd motivated a whole new generation to vote. Young people went out to vote for him like they never did for Kerry....and his actions since getting into power would have done more to disenfranchise those voters than anything Bush did. Even when the guy they voted for and believed in won he pussyfooted around and catered to a right wing faction that were never going to show any bipartisan spirit whatsoever.

Transformers 2 Ridiculously bad. Still wasn't sure which robots were goodies and which were baddies. Still couldn't make out what was going on in fights and chaces. Still not sure why the baddies want the sun or the goodies want to stop them getting the sun. The worst thing was the deceptacon they brought over to their side. It looked like a shitty weightless remote control truck (which it was) most of the time, then it would transform into a lush weighty robot with speed and suspension....then it would change back and trundle along like something from a home video. Actually, that might not have been as bad as the two new robots with atitoooooood. Planet 51 Canny little animation that does ET in reverse (Human goes to space and alien helps him get home). I got pretty bored later on but there's some good references to older sci-fi films to enjoy.
