It wasn't as shocking as your patter tttt. Fopesque.

It's a witty satire of Leazes and sillykunt. There is only one thing allowed to be really, actually, in truth, shocking, the question you must ask yourself young grasshopper, is what is it for you?

The Taliban don't currently rule Afghanistan. Do you still think it's pointless discussing such matters with someone that lacks even the most basic comprehension of facts like that? Thanks to the West. They did in 2001 and you couldn't bring yourself to say intervention was warranted. I doubt you even realised the Taliban had control over the country as in discussion it became clear you had absolutely no comprehension of the recent history of the country. If you had your way, we'd still be living in caves, because you'd be frightened to go out hunting in case a boar was killed in collateral murder. Not at all, I said elsewhere, I fully support testing on animals. actually, I don't particularly like testing on animals, but see it as a necessary evil. Like shooting terrorist scumbags or kicking people out of the country who's leanings are elsewhere and harp on about the west "occupying their homeland" I'm all for shooting terrorist scumbags too. We're such kindred spirits. except you have to be 100% sure though, even at the expense of allowing them to take the first shot at you ? Nope. I don't think there's any law that says someone has to be "100%" guilty. you can only act on information received, and the belief from that information that the person is a danger to you or to someone else. Mistakes can be made, and are made. Sad. But that's the way it is. Agreed. We're so in harmony you and I. Of course you'd want mistakes liker that investigated to be certain they were mistakes wouldn't you?

European games may add to that. Needs more research. RobW clearly too lazy to get the numbers right and picked a figure out of the sky. 19 Premier League games, 6 Champions league games and say 4 FA/Carling cup games. £8.4m a year divided by 29 games is £289k per home game. Those 6000 would need to be paying £48.27 per ticket to cover his wages. Man U isn't that steep is it? Call me stupid like but he probably insists on being paid all 52 weeks of the year. Wasn't he factoring that into the equation, Stupid? ????? Where does the £8.4 million figure come from? I thought it was more than that? £42 million contract over 5 years say the beeb.

Winner Manchester United 2/1 Arsenal 7/2 Aston Villa 7 Birmingham 14 Newcastle United 14 That'll be 6s if we win tomorrow. Walcott and Bendtner to start apparently, I'll be thrilled to bits if we win, cos then a home draw against Man Utd Reserves could make us genuine favourites to actually win it. I'd love to see the toon at new Wembley yous would all love it, however good you think it is in your mind, when you're there it's much better than you even hoped be mint to see 45000 toon fans there. I'd fuckin love it. "Strong chance" is a bit of a stretch at the moment.

Interesting (in the loosest sense of the word) to look at the guardian chalkboards and compare the two players over the last 2 games. http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/chalkboards/create Passes Simpson 33/44 - 75% Perch 26/30 - 87% Interceptions Simpson - 1 Perch - 2 Tackles Simpson - 3/5 - 60% Perch 2/2 - 100% Clearances Simpson 3/3 - 100% Perch 0/1 - 0% Blocks Simpson 1 Perch 0 Perch isn't any worse at tackling, intercepting or passing....he just goes completely missing and doesn't attempt as many to start with. Saying that, I think Wigan were a far better team than West Ham and Simpson wasn't abandoned like Perch was by Guthrie.....

Can you expand on that? you can comment on the rest of the post if you like. Clearly a bunch of idiots who should be punished to the full extent of the law. I have no qualms with animal testing whatsoever and wonder how much these arseholes go out of their way to avoid ANY product tested on animals....I can't imagine it would be feasible. Do they want more cases like the medical tests that inflated those bloke's heads a year or so back and killed some? Mind, in addition to animal testing being responsible for man leaving the cave and building accomodation, I also find strange your association of animal rights extremists with immigratants, relegious persuasion and liberal leanings. Do you think tyhe perp is a muslim, immigrant, vegetarian, peace loving, hippie?

Aye, I liked the comment "you never expect away fans to support you." A matter of fact acceptance that he and all other players will get abused for whatever reason. While the more offensive abuse should be clamped down on by stewards/bans, it's not a thing that will be eradicated any time soon. Discrimination within the halls of power at clubs can be tackled to a much greater degree though and should be the aim. A gay footballer would be far happier scoring goals against the fans taunting him, than being hounded out of the club by his own manager and teammates and not getting to play the game at all.

Should they raise ticket prices or let Rooney go to city?

That's what the Thinking Allowed interviewee was arguing against. No point convincing the powerless minions on the lowest rung of the ladder there's no place for homophobia when the Premier League and clubs refuse to acknowledge the problem. Show racism the red card is widely supported because it's not an issue any more....30% of players are black anyway....only once everyone in the game is in agreement are they raising the issue. Needs a "show homophobia the pink card" scheme to challenge the professional game. How many players/squads would pose holding up pink cards?

Pretty harsh ripping the piss out of his Beardsley jaw at that age man.

Once since the rule change has the number of goals exceeded the range set in the years before the change....by just one tenth of a goal per game. Total goals: 01/02 - 1001 - 2.63 per game 02/03 - 1000 - 2.63 03/04 - 1012 - 2.66 04/05 - 975 - 2.56 05/06 - 944 - 2.48 06/07 - 931 - 2.45 07/08 - 1002 - 2.63 08/09 - 942 - 2.47 09/10 - 1053 - 2.77 10/11 - 237 - 2.63 It's a daft rule.

It amazes me every time another season rolls around without reverting back to the cut and dry rule it was in the past.....what can the people in the game possibly want it left like this for? Perhaps it makes it easier to throw games More goals, apparently. That's what I'd heard too.....they don't outlaw goalkeepers though......or restrict the defending team to having no more than 6 men behind the ball at any one time or anything else just as stupid. They brought the "actively involved" rule into the game in 2008? Has it resulted in particularly more goals? I might produce a chart in my lunch hour to check

....and you only get one home game per fortnight, so isn't it the first 12,000?
