Here's the report that the Clinton team were mailing each other with details from the speeches that could be embarrassing. https://www.documentcloud.org/documents/3130829-HRC-Paid-Speeches-Flags.html It's 80 pages long.

Had my first listen to the recent Atmosphere album today. Loved it. Old school hip hop. I like the new shit as much as anyone, but melody and smooth flow felt like something completely refreshing.

There was an episode of This American Life in February that interviewed a black gay teenage Trump supporter. He said it was because Trump was the only right wing supporter of gay marriage and as a gay conservative it's rare to find someone with right wing policies but who wants gays to be able to marry too. But when Trump flipped on gay marriage, he didn't withdraw his support. He said he'd still vote for Trump, against his own interests. Ultimately, he concluded he was drawn to Trump's perceived power. Which goes some way (anecdotally) to explain how his numbers go relatively unharmed by whatever shit he spouts. http://m.thisamericanlife.org/radio-archives/episode/580/transcript

And not one that will only last until he goes. There will be little appetite for supporting any of the rebels looking to oust him among those that joined labor to help him. The best bet would be for those centrist opponents to back him to the hilt, and endear themselves to the lefties that might otherwise look for someone else as radical.

No, i'm saying labour were trending down before Corbyn. Milliband turned his lead into deficit himself. Dishonest to pin that on Corbyn.
-
I was talking about the 27% swing you've attributed to him.
-
He's clinging on to an impossible job that will only harm him and the party as long as it goes on. There's no need to exaggerate the impact his appointment has had when it has been so demonstrably catastrophic without manipulating the numbers.

from the reporting on Renton's numbers... The gap is the second largest Tory lead recorded by ICM, outstripped only by a poll in 2008 which showed David Cameron’s Tories 20 per cent ahead of Gordon Brown’s Labour. Labour’s 26 per cent is only slightly higher than their lowest ever level – 25 per cent under Gordon Brown in two polls in 2008 and 2009. https://inews.co.uk/essentials/news/politics/theresa-mays-conservatives-romp-17-point-poll-lead-labour/
-
...also it's sneaky to pin a 27% swing on him. The first ComRes poll after he was announced (that you linked to) gave the Tories a 12 point lead, so despite everything the last year, he's "only" lost 5%.
-
Taking the opposite view, despite being ripped to shreds by the entire media bar 1 paper and the vast majority of his own MPs taking direct action to harm his leadership, these numbers STILL aren't the worst Labour have had, even in the last decade. Wonder what the numbers would be without that opposition.

He's made 22 appearances. 18 in league games. It's less than a quarter of what some in his peer group have managed, but I'm calling it. Sort of "local lad" we've seen build careers at Newcastle but always known were too brittle/average.

There were... and under McClaren. I pulled Mark Douglas up for them on Twitter. He would go on about the lessons learned and how we were sorting out the injury problems when we changed so much as a physio. At least in this instance you can believe there's some substance to the changes that have been made.

Which makes you wonder what kind of News wing NBC is running and what kind of people the producers are, that would sit on it throughout the years of Republican nominations and the race so far.

Also, if you want to understand the Trump phenomena, over the years Tell Em Steve Dave has provided interesting insight into the mindset of three reasonably well off middle aged white men with nothing to be angry about but completely indignant at the politically correct society that leads to students getting a safe space. The religious one is massively concerned about muslims, the godless one "jokes" about blacks a bit too much and doesn't even use the veneer of jokes when talking about feminists, the liberal one is the wealthiest and while he offers most balance to the other two, he's not liberal enough to think that taxes are a good thing at all. They aren't bad people, I'd happily drink with any of them, but having spent an hour a week with them for 6 years Trump's popularity isn't all that surprising. -

I'm not even a big fan of his popular films, think Red State was the last one i watched. It was canny. I've got a lot of time for how he's handled himself though. After Copout (where he had little control and got all the blame) he's only doing stuff that he has full control of and he's happy to live or die by it. They all make their money back from his fanboys so he gets to make more. He might have gone too far with Yoga Hosers though. Moose Jaws might make a loss if even his fans are getting tired of them. Best thing about him is bringing Tell Em Steve Dave (specifically Walt Flannagan) to the giant podcast bin. -

Shouldn't Rafa have a shape he likes and drill the team on it with long term aims in mind? Not necessarily the shape you go for in the championship, home or away, but the one he sees us playing most regularly in the top flight. -
I just meant he's injured too often and not good enough when fit. Don't know what you racist racists thought I meant.

Think that's why a lot of Corbyn's front bench get derided as a talent vacuum.

The free software they used to wipe the drives was called "bleach clean" or something. Don't know why anyone has taken this to mean she got the marigolds out and started rubbing acid into the hard drive casing.
