I don't get why we have to agree a start time. Isn't it just an ongoing challenge you can keep trying?

I reckon you should spend the next 12 hours searching those oddball sites that you do, to find somewhere that says these are peaceful people, badly misunderstood, and can't wait to get into the UK and enrich our society with their minority views and the revolutionary methods of educating us on their superior liberal outlook, and patience towards others who differ from them. The essence of leazes.

"The one thing about fans is that they chant some great stuff. They are funny and they are so quick. When I saw that banner, I had a wry smile. I knew they had gone a long way to do that. I thought 'that's their statement' so I had a wry smile. People said I was being smug - I wasn't. I thought they'd gone out of their way to do it. I have heard the chants as well, some of it's very funny. I have a sense of humour and they aren't being spiteful so I can understand it. I can understand their passion. There is so much passion here and you have to appreciate that." He's full of praise.

http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/newcastle-u...72703-26309735/ Aww shucks, thanks Decka. He's not so bad really. I thought you meant you were waiting for other posters to lavish their praise on the fantastic job he's doing. Wouldn't be the first time you've imagined an inrference in one of my posts....rather than actually reading it

I don't need smoke blown up my arse at all, but I feel nothing but contempt from this fucker. I'd be genuinely interested to read any praise he's given to the fans for what they've done. Not just the generic "greatest fans in the world...nothing like a rocking St James'" but actual praise for something specifically that's impressed him. This is sparked off the back of reading the BBC report on our finances which revealed that despite relegation, gates receipts actually INCREASED. Pretty impressive, even with the extra games in the lower league... to get more people through the gates paying more than we did in the top flight. Has that ever happened before? What did Decka think of it? Twat. Look forward to being bombed out with loads of examples

History has nothing to teach us. I sense a certain irony in your reply History has to be relevant and interesting. Recycling old opinions ad nauseam about the ancien regime is neither imo. It just sounded like something Homer would say and it tickled me. -

That simply isn’t true. £135m was a stupid price to pay for a club that was apparently about to cease to exist, and we all know why he paid way over the odds. It’s ironic a man renowned for bargain buys should get so well and truly ripped off. Ashley gambled and lost. The bottom line is in close to four years the club’s revenues have dropped, attendances have dropped and its status has dropped. The only key business indicator that has gone up is the amount of money it owes, which has near enough doubled and now stands in excess of £150m. It’s a shocking state of affairs and there is only one person to blame. The local media need to grow some balls and scrutinise the data, not just regurgitate the club’s absurd spin. the biggest and most telling "facts" of all, and indisputable. In Freddy's final year losses were £33m and debt was £70m Last year we lost £33m so there's no decrease in the bottom line, even in the championship. Losing £33m a year over 4 years would have added £132m more debt....but we've only actually added £80m of debt in that time, so that's a slowing of the decline. -

I think its a bit rich to say, improved league position when we're 6 points ahead of the bottom team. we may be 11th but its a precarious 11th. At this stage in the season pre-Ashley we had 36 points (16 more than Watford) we'd just been knocked out of the UEFA cup, got to the 5th round of the League Cup. I meant compared to the previous couple of seasons. Not the last decade. Comparing the shepherd decline and the ashley decline from their original positions.
