Everything we've considered so far has been exactly that. Greece first week or so of September. We did Halkidiki last time though. Hoping to try somewhere else. Tripadvisor is the biggest hindrance tbh. Any negative reviews whatsoever and she'll not have it, even if the other 90% say it's spot on. If you go further south / east i.e. Rhodes (or somewhere near like Symi, etc.) or Crete or somewhere like that it's going to be nice and warm well into September (probably October), the Ionians (Corfu etc. is a bit dodgier at that time of year, weather-wise). You can fly from Newcastle to Crete and Rhodes as well. Cheers. I'll push the South East options.

I'll avoid the obvious answer.

Gerrin! They're balancing the fuck out of those books this week. It's glorious stuff.

I'd fucking lay his nuts on a fucking dresser and bang them shits with a spiked fucking bat. I would fucking love to see him grovelling on the ground for mercy whilst I whip his back to shreds Mine's off a Wu-Tang intro, yours reminded me of it. ?? The rap act, the Wu-Tang Clan. On an intro to a track on their first album a couple of them are discussing torture techniques. It's cartoon / tongue-in-cheek stuff not to be taken seriously though. 'Nice' Toonraider was totally serious. Reminds me of David Brent going overboard about Andrea Corr.

Gay obesity porn and Star Trek fan fiction?

"Barton’s dismay over the decision to allow new boy Yohan Cabaye take all of the corners and free-kicks during the game against Leeds." ...is listed as a reason to release your best player on a free? A desire to play and perform?

Personally I reckon they'd thank Pardoo for giving it his all in a difficult financial climate and keep him on no matter what. They'd apologise that it's come to relegation, but assure the fans that the club is on a sound enough footing to be able to cope with relegation and not go out of business under the weight of debts, that's all thanks to Mike Ashley's investment and effort. ....like they did last time.

He's been on the windup for the 40 or 50 years he's been here, you'd think over that period of time he'd have shown some loyalty. Barton's a bell-end for speaking up publicly and being moved on. Harper's a bell end for quietly getting on with it and not making waves publicly for over a decade. Makes you wonder how a player can win.

He's gone awfy quiet like. but to be fair he was quiet for a few days before the news too. Having persisted with his 'sensible business' line of thinking following the Carroll sale and most of this window this must be a shattering blow though. I'd be surprised if Chez persists with the 'wait and see' angle now. You can still put that logical business angle on it...but you have to arrive at the conclusion they're making fucking diabolical footballing choices.

Still looking forward to the Arsenal game personally. It's been a LONG summer.

Want to come camping? Think I'd prefer to relax this time. Hot sun, air conditioned room, the odd dip in the pool. Anyone been to Bulgaria? What's it like? I'm thinking it'll be like Turkey but not as hot.

Bartons a disgrace Nolan's a disgrace Carroll's a disgrace Milner's a disgrace Enrique's a disgrace Given's a disgrace All engineering moves out of a club that clearly has ambition and drive, ran by a man of great vision. Sod off. If it's a one off the player can be called a twat. When it's a flood of your best players desparate to get away you have to look higher up the chain of command.
-
It's simple really, if you want to improve on a budget you retain your best 11, sell squad members that don't cut it and sign bargain players with more ability to challenge the starting 11. What we do is sell players from our best 11 and replace them with pale imitations. Lee Ryder still saying "let's see what the situation is on September 1st"

Is the bigger point he made not that Barton wasnt offered a contract and he wanted to stay?.... Barton was offered a contract at Christmas and turned it down. According to the club. Just as Nolan was and then it was just dropped. Offered new contracts to keep them sweet until the end of the season, then get shot of them by the looks of things. Would both still be here had they signed the contracts offered to them in January. The verbal contracts.

Anyone know any good sites for last minute deals. Lastminute.com, teletext.com and icelolly seem to be similar prices days, weeks or months in advance.
-
Of course it isn't. Enrique said much worse.

If season tickets went on sale tomorrow I'd still be buying.

The underlying issue here is that it's between being sold and being given a free. Why the fuck is the removal of Joey Barton from the NUFC payroll even been under discussion? Seriously? Players either have balance sheet value, or they are a drain on resources. Football doesn't come into it. By making it clear he would not accept any deal that involved a fee, barton went from the former to the latter. You're missing my point. Why was his departure ever up for discussion? Because he's on high wages. No-one over 27 will get a contract for 50k+ a week. Total stupidity as a football decision. In line with all his other 'business' decisions at the club though.
-
Ashley doesn't give a shit if the players are questioning him. Enrique has value...he stays. Barton is an expense...he goes. Simple as that.

"This calls for immediate discussion"

Every one of those saved or made money.
