  1. Again, phrases like "vast majority" are where you over egg the pudding. The vast majority did indeed want Fred out, me included. If anyone said it, it must have been a tiny minority who said they "didn't really care who replaced "him"" though. It's getting on for a majority of fans wanting Arsene Wenger out at Arsenal these days.....I'm sure most of them wouldn't be happier with Joe Kinnear, and they aren't saying Wenger hasn't had an overall positive effect on the club.
  2. Reported. I'll report that sig. Proper abuse and no mistake.
  3. Dodgy "t" on this keyboard by the way. Not saying cress was falling from his face.
  4. You've got to keep Leazes in check tbf. One minute you can say Ashley deserved a chance upon arrival and the next he'll tell everyone you said "Anyone but Shepherd, I hated the 90's at NUFC".
  5. Why did you not say owt then? I did, almost from day 1. The ONLY time I slightly wavered, was when he appointed Keegan and I HOPED [aye, let my heart rule my head, unlike me] that he would back his manager, or rather, I hoped Keegan would bully him into showing some ambition like he did when the Halls and Shepherd initially took over the club. I'll stand corrected if you can quote yourself stating his intentions at the time then. As it is I've quoted you saying the opposite 7 months after the bloke arrived. Hardly a temporary state of mind either cos in March you were still saying... http://www.toontastic.net/board/index.php?...st&p=447707 Hardly pointing out the obvious 9 months in were you? Credit where it's due though. As soon as the murmurings from Keegan started coming out towards the end of the season you started hammering Ashley at every opportunity. I (like Keegan) gave them the benefit of the doubt until Keegan walked in September, so you were a good four months ahead of the curve for me. And PP has said similar I think. No need to claim clairvoyance that you demonstrably didn't have though. my thoughts and reservations are still there, in the bold ?? I'm not going to deny my own comments, like posters such as mancmag and Gloomy do, especially to you who are one of the best football posters on the board. It's just a shame some fuckers have their heads up their arse, like the 2 mentioned, and can't admit it, especially Gloomy, who does nowt but moan on about wanting and ambitious board, when he slated them when we had it - which I pointed out to him at the time too... and he knows it, which is the REAL reason why he won't engage in comments and posts to/with me. I'd call that cautiously optimistic rather than pointing out Ashley's obvious intentions from day one. I'm sure no-one would disagree with that cautious optimism at the time or deny that you weren't 100% sure about him. But you're over egging the pudding with your "I knew from day one" claims. I could equally say I was right from ay one when i said in the week of the buyout... ...but we didn't know anything....we were being cautious.

  7. Lad turned up in the pub with his shiny new trainers and a big smile.... Mate 1 "Where did you get those" Mate 2 "Burtons...two pairs for £40" Mate 1 "Right....you could have got one decent pair for that" Probably had to be there but I was howling at mate 2's cresfallen face. Amazes me how some people function in society if they feel the need to report owt to mods or flounce. Even if you've got nowt to come back with, call them a twat and move on.
  8. Exactly. It's just a bit of fun. You cunt.
  9. Happy Birthday and that
  10. But that abuse was WRT Heskey...not Barfa. He's not claiming vindication about Heskey.
  11. Aye, if it did happen.....which it didn't. Always makes me chuckle when people ascribe opinions to people (or themselves) when there's a quick and easy search can be done. This is the page he's on about.... http://www.toontastic.net/board/index.php?...Arfa&st=900 Was only canofbeans who wasn't keen on his talents... But then he also said... Comments like "Get in" (Tom) "we'd do well to land him" (JawD) and many others dead keen...you....Parky.
  12. Awww, he's not...he's just at the bottom as a reference. Still like, worse than half the poster on here.
  13. Not followed this thread...is that the actual Lawro who's last?
  14. Surely the "negative" people (who were actually just people saying they hadn't seen him play ) have been proved right not to build up their hopes. Even Ben Arfa himself would agree that we've seen frustratingly little of his talent during his NUFC career so far. Fingers remain crossed like, but a bit early for gloating.
  15. Brothels, dogs and Mary Poppins Only a dog would wear that bra....so he's basically called my lass a dog by selling it. Next product announced will be a dildo with the crest on, Mike Ashley wants Newcastle to LITERALLY fuck fans.
  16. He'll be like a new signing once he's fit. As long as no-one touches his tibia, his fibia or his ankle.
  17. "@Sammy_Ameobi: Why do people keep asking me whether I whiten my teeth? It's the mixture of scrubbing hard & contrast of me being black ppl! "
  18. Take it to Wikipedia CT and MM I haven't got time to be fact checking a century of Newcastle managers Despite the impression my line graphs and spreadsheets might give of arsing about most of the day.
  19. Aye he fucking should CT but thats not how the table works.... (looked at end column) Hadn't noticed that...why is it ranked as win%? S'pose it's a more memorable way of doing it. Just the number hat's always reported. It's what's on the Wiki page and what CT quoted in the Pardoo thread. I added points % as I think it's more informative....but didn't want to mix it about.
  20. Aye he fucking should CT but thats not how the table works.... (looked at end column) Indeed. Ordered on wins rather than points. Hughton's top either way. Pardoo moves up a few places.
  21. Update as suggested in the Pardoo thread... Hughton sitting pretty right at the top there. (Points % based on 3 points for a win for everyone btw)
  22. Seem to have lost that spreadie when changing PCs I'll will have to resurrect it.
  23. Nicos normally has all that shit to hand. http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_New...d_F.C._managers Half as good as hughton. Worse than roeder and allardyce. Nowt to write home about Where do they get 31 games from? Surely the dont count the likes of Darlington and other friendlies. It says... Information correct as of match played 28 August 2011. Only competitive matches are counted Though I only know of 27 competitive games, So not sure where they get that from. Having said that, over those 27 games his record is worse P27 W8 D11 L 8 29% win rate Which brings him down to worse than Jack Charlton, Bill Mcgarry and Richard Dinnis.
