The sheer number of new players was one of my major concerns and Im impressed the way It's gone, with Cabaye and Ba especially. My fear we wouldn't improve on last season was predicated on that, and at the moment I'm being proven totally wrong.

Mackems and fulhsm are the teams we've beaten that finished above us last year. Both were within 3 points of us. Perhaps I should have said fellow also-rans. PP's thread shows we're picking up points where we didn't last season so couldn't ask for much more right now.

Doing the team a massive disservice there if you ask me. We're there on merit, with a little bit of luck. You're one with an agenda and sometimes it shows. I've recently posted how im overjoyed, how we're excellent and how excited I am about the players we have. No agenda. Surely you don't think we'll be third at Christmas though. We're bound to drop. Think that's realistic rather than negative. Question is how far? The similarity with those teams is the barnstorming start which we won't maintain.

Overjoyed we're picking up points against fellow strugglers, but that's exactly what they all are, and we've ridden our luck to pick up those points. I find pardoo's approach after going 2 up very worrying. Bringing on the 2 slowest, worst players on our bench (i assume for their 'experience') was daft when there's players available who could have compounded the misery for wolves. He Invited pressure onto a defense who have performed excellent so far this season, but in all hontesty have not come up against anyone with any killer instinct and as a result are flattered by conceding so few.

Checked and he hasn't. Has he won free kicks that led to goals? ...or corners that led to goals? Again, genuine question. I'm a fierce critic of gutierez, but he wins us loads of set pieces in attacking areas even if he's rarely able to finish like today. Don't see obertsn offering even that.

I was surprised by his rave reviews against blackburn. Thought he was poor against them too. Has he got any assists yet? Genuine question.

I think we're just like blackpool & hull. We won't fall into relegation, but our position flatters us immensley and we all know it.
