Alec think all those posters reckon we'll finish mid-table like, so not sure why we're being so partisan about it. CT came up with the positive/negative bollocks. Everyone you've listed has more going on upstairs than him and realise it's not just a case of "with Ashley or against him".

we could go second next week

2 of the starting 11 remain unbooked

Bottom 9 now...bottom 11 if qpr win. :-) Am more confused now. our position flatters us less every game, but the mackems haven't lost to anyone in the bottom half either and they were close to dropping into the bottom 3 before yesterdays game. Neither position is false based on games played, but no-one should think we're a squad 10 places better than the mackems.

Think the fear is we ARE playing at our best. Convincing as it has made our position in the table its never looked too convincing on the field...at least from the first 11.

Obertan: Earths' gravity is no match for him.

its not like he's being turned on after 2 bad touches. Its 9 games of frustration. not that I cheered his replacement or owt. -

He won 1 (one) tackle in the entire game. -
What's black with two broken arms? Colonel Gaddafi's sunglasses!

had to chuckle yesterday when people around me were saying Tiote is shit. Caught in possession a few too many times in a flooded midfield. Hardly any reason to clamour for Smith or Guthrie to replace him.

They're from Newcastle.

Aye. Thank god Wigan are so shit, cos first half especially we never got going and they wasted their head of steam, we made ours count.

How small is Crusat? No bigger than Jeremy beadles hand. Almost too wee.

Was last player to leave the pitch on Sunday. Stayed out of a while. And yesterday. Taylor is seething.

What would he have done in marveaux's boots for the goal? He'd have controlled it and done a few step overs, ran it to the corner flag and passed back to Simpson. -
guiness, carling & Becks. :-(

Think I was the only one in my section who clapped at the half time whistle. We weren't good 1st half but we weren't wolves either.
-
good 3 points, if a little shaky. I wouldn't have posted such a bland and obvious statement, but I'm in a rush and would hate to think anyone keeping an eye on these things thinks I'm dodging a match thread after victory. x

That's pie in the sky and you know it. Most of them are either flagrant careerists or in the pocket of big business and various 'comittees'. This is why the banned protesting outside parliament a few years ago. At least they're taking action, what alternative do you propose? I know you agree with the stance, if not the method.

Going a bit Daily Hitler here but even though I agree with the sentiment the practicalities of being able to put whatever life you have on hold to do stuff like this begs the question what are they living on? I can't help thinking some of the trendy London ones especialley will be living on Daddy's allowance which will have a probably conflicted source. not having a job is part of the protest tbf

They were selling pints for a pound each at the end of half time. Just trying to shift product that is otherwhise wasted. Annoying when it means hundreds of people are 20 minutes late back to their seats rather than the acceptable 5 minutes I'm always late.

Awake already and too excited to get back to sleep. Mike Ashley is GREAT.

agreed, i think the ideology is there but it needs someone to lead with solutions to the problems that have been identified. saw a quote from some anarchist philosophy major i know about the problem that getting such a leader creates its own problems..... "As soon as a theory is enmeshed in a particular point, we realise that it will never possess the slightest practical importance unless it can erupt in a totally different area. This is why the notion of reform is so stupid and hypocritical. Either reforms are designed by people who claim to be representative, who make a profession of speaking for others, and they lead to a division of power, to ...a distribution of this new power which is consequently increased by a double repression; or they arise from the complaints and demands of those concerned. This latter instance is no longer a reform but revolutionary action that questions (expressing the full force of its partiality) the totality of power and the hierarchy that maintains it." -Deleuze while i can see the point that is being made here, i don't think i support an anarchistic state model. Protest isn't anarchic is it? It's democracy in action. The people demanding representation from elected leaders more interested in selling their idesology to the highest bidder with corporate personhood.
