He's not been able to in the 9 months since Scalia died. The Republicans have been pinning their hopes on a Trump win and blockading an appointment all year. I don't know how they've been able to get away with it.
-
That's why Trump had Scott Baio Previously on top of the world, now jobless and on the scrap heap.
-
Do you not mean parky? I've expressed my fears of a Trump presidency repeatedly. It just hit me that his first job is to make a supreme court appointment

You think you feel angry this morning. Just think how Billy Bush feels. The only one harmed by pussy grab.

The Corbynistas are looking to implode the Democratic party as well.

I blame Wasserman Schultz

Pennsylvania was Democrat the last 6 elections running. Been called for Trump. The folly of Clinton's coronation in the primaries.

The "I want everything to stay as it is because it's working for me" vote is unfortunately a dwindling one across developed nations.

Oh dear.

Clinton opposes same sex marriage.

Except to say that Assange has made himself available before leaving Sweden and since. He's tried repeatedly to answer questions. Sweden have sent prosecutors to the UK 44 times before to question suspects. Their refusal to do so here is what makes it political, all about extradition to the US and why it's arbitrary detention, despite those detaining him obviously denying it.
-
But he dances like an oddball.
-
1. There are no charges 2. He's not a fugitive. He stayed in Sweden for 5 weeks, asked the prosecutor if he was ok to leave and they said he was. 3. The UN's lawyers have performed a 16 month investigation (that the UK and Swedish authorities supported) and ruled that he HAS been arbitrarily detained. Repeating the lies surrounding the case doesn't make them true.
-
Doesn't strike me as cowardly to risk opposing power such that it leads to being arbitrarily detained by the UK and Sweden for more than five years (as the UN ruled along with the view that he should be released immediately and given compensation).

Our forecast has Clinton favored in states and congressional districts totaling 323 electoral votes, including all the states President Obama won in 2012 except Ohio and Iowa, but adding North Carolina. However, because our forecasts are probabilistic, and because Clinton’s leads in North Carolina and Florida especially are tenuous, the average number of electoral votes we forecast for Clinton is 302, which would be equivalent to her winning either Florida or North Carolina but not both. http://fivethirtyeight.com/features/final-election-update-theres-a-wide-range-of-outcomes-and-most-of-them-come-up-clinton/

Bill Clinton branded Labour’s Jeremy Corbyn the "maddest person in the room" in a speech he gave explaining the resurgence of left-wing politics in Europe and America. Documents released by Wikileaks show the former President joked that when Mr Corbyn won his leadership contest, it appeared Labour had just "got a guy off the street" to run the party. He compared Mr Corbyn’s rise to the success of Alexis Tsipras in Greece and Bernie Sanders in US primaries. In one section of the speech, Mr Clinton said Labour had disposed of one potentially successful leader, David Miliband, because they were "mad at him for being part of Tony Blair’s government in the Iraq War". He went on: "They moved to the left and put his brother in as leader because the British labor movement wanted it. "When David Cameron thumped him in the election, they reached the interesting conclusion that they lost because they hadn’t moved far left enough, and so they went out and practically got a guy off the street to be the leader of the British Labor Party [sic]." Mr Clinton added: "But what that is reflective of – the same thing happened in the Greek election – when people feel they’ve been shafted and they don’t expect anything to happen anyway, they just want the maddest person in the room to represent them." Labour declined to comment on the speech http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/bill-clinton-jeremy-corbyn-maddest-person-speech-wikileaks-hack-a7404641.html

Re-post, but the "This American Life" on Clinton this week is interesting. Audio https://www.thisamericanlife.org/radio-archives/episode/601/master-of-her-domain-name Transcript https://www.thisamericanlife.org/radio-archives/episode/601/transcript Brilliant mind that grasps concepts she's passionate about immediately. Strong politician pushing for the rights of the lowest in society to be protected Pragmatic politician introducing provisions to ensure laws that could harm people don't hurt too much Political animal happy to avoid a vote completely if it will reflect poorly on her or her stated position but her lobbyists insist it must pass ...and all on one same issue. She's a technophobe who can't use a PC and insists on using an outdated blackberry rather than learn any other technology and refused to have any additional phones though most in DC do. Her email issues were due to ignorance and institutional failings, only reflecting similar problems Colin Powell and thousands of others in the state department experience. But then, anyone else with her access who failed to protect classified information would get short shrift using ignorance as an excuse. They wouldn't necessarily be in jail, but they would possibly be out of work.

I'm excited for the next step in Happy face data representations. I've been playing with google sheets animated charts. for example you can go year by year making bubbles bigger and smaller on a scatter plot. Just need to work out how to tweet them or paste them in here. Best option I can think of is just a twitter video of my screen, but that is awful. -
Which 1) is the perception of one outlet against another 2) No-one disagreed with.
