Haven't won a game south of Wolverhampton all season, in league or cup. With 5 of our remaining 7 away games further than that, time to break the hoo-do.

Love the classic Monty Python "turnover versus profit & Loss " sketch.

If only Leazes was as delighted with the buyout as the Halls and Shepherd were. ...or could see the reasons why. In the words of Hall himself... “I don’t have as much money as Mike but I would probably be doing the same as him. In my day we were local millionaires such as Jack Walker at Blackburn, Dave Whelan at Wigan and Bill Kenwright at Everton and we put our money into our clubs because we were fans.” “But now the game is being run by billionaires and for me it is wrong and stupid if any English businessman tries to compete with these billionaires who are coming in and I don’t think are coming in for the right reasons.” “Ashley has a formula that is working and long may it continue.” “In my view when Roman Abramovich came in, the game in England changed forever and basically people threw money at it for reasons other than football.”

Obertan: Earths' gravity is no match for him.

When you're as pretty as Obertan it's natural to pull out of any 50/50 and protect your looks. -

Every time Ferguson warms up we make a joke about the ballboy coming on. Which reminds me, highlight of the day was Cisse's warm up. Thought he was gonna do a full lap. -

Sometimes retaining posession is a good idea though, rather than a speculative cross into a box no-one's in yet...and if you're pulling 3 players out of the game you're doing summat right. -
It was right in front of me but all eyes were on the Ba, so I only caught it in my peripheral vision I'd thought he'd gone in two footed, but the replay shows he had one leg trailing rather than studs up on both. Still fucking manky either way though.

I'm sure plenty of people at the Arsenal game were cunts
-
Sounds like you're more pissed off than me. I'm just making conversation ffs Get back to baiting LeazesMag about 7 year old threads and kicking off the same old shitty best board argument if you don't like it.

All the space I could see was in the posh seats like. And I can't see how many empty seats are between the away fans and ours But Arsenal were closer to a sell out for their televised fixture on a cold day too, in this economy, against Blackburn who have shitter saway support.

Now that I check attendances over the course of the season, it does look like people are being wooed back by the teams performance. We never got a crowd as big as yesterday for the first 5 games.

Do I frequently complain about results?

Film/moving picture show you most recently watched

Gnomeo & Juliet Ozzy Osbourne lends his voice and Elton John lends his songs. And they change the ending to improve on Shakespeare. Shit as it sounds -
Was disappointed with the crowd yesterday, if we're real contenders. http://stats.football365.com/dom/ENG/PR/attend.html Newcastle and Sunderland fill less of their stadiums than anyone else in the top half on average. Economy hitting the NE the hardest or dissatisfaction with the clubs?

The bronze Barry.

Frankly, Mr Shankly, since you ask you are a flatulent pain the arse

So what day was it?

Awake at this ungodly hour. I can't drink anymore.

Shifting your feet quicker than Ben Arfa there. Left you for dead.

I'll be elated if it happens, you'll be disappointed if it doesn't. You need to recalibrate your expectations, not me I thought you lamented the lowering of ambition and expectations, now you're preaching to others that they should lower theirs? I lament the loss of champions league aspirations in REALITY, not in cloud cuckoo land. The club sets the level of ambition, not the fans.

Not at all. Its what fans do. Its the dreams they have. They have just got the closest you could describe to their version of Keegan. The manager they have wanted for ages. He has took them on a fabulous run where they are now 6 points off us. We consider we have had a great season, they were heading for relegation a short while ago. And finally, his first sentence says...."I emphasise the ‘could’ in the title, because in all honesty it’s very unlikely". So no, not embarrassing at all. Is be embarrased to write 100 words on why something I think is very unlikely is on the cards. Let alone thousands. Attention whoring piffle to argue against your own opinion. Leave it till April.
-
Shit. Hopefully the merson prediction will be enough to balance that out.
-
Go for the title while you're at it. I'm actually aiming to get rat-arsed and not wet the bed after. Whatever the club manage is a bonus.
