  1. You had a reet fucking pop at me for being miserable before this one.
  2. NUFC assists (ordered by assists, then minutes played in brackets) 5 Taylor R (1825) 4 Ba (1628) 4 Cabaye (1708) 3 Ben Arfa (585) 3 Ameobi S (816) 3 Best (1151) 3 Obertan (1489) 3 Gutierrez (2135) 2 Tiote (1251) 1 Marveaux (96) 1 Lovenkrands (206) 1 Taylor S (1260) 1 Simpson (2236) 1 Krul (2250)
  3. Daily Mirror : "Newcastle were supposed to be tough opponents and chasing a top-four place themselves. In reality, they were a shambles and unworthy of the incredible support shown by their amazing fans, many of whom were still singing at five goals down." Ouch.
  4. You're tactically streets ahead of Pardew Parky.... We could have done a bit better in the fundamentals of heading it, kicking it, passing it and making a tackle. Wonder who puts their shin pads in for them.
  5. You and Paul Merson are basically the same. He predicts defeat, you predict a win.
  6. Kenny Dalglish will be delighted the focus is on his racist player rather than what he's spent on achieving 7th place. He's played all the top 3 twice now and not beaten any of them.
  7. Can't understand the owners publicising the fact they intervened and drafted the apologies. Turns what they'd like to have been an end to the matter into a PR move highlighting the fact Suarez and Dalglish are both still being cunts about it. Has Suarez been fined for telling KD he would shake hands...then not doing it? I think it's bollocks that he said he would.
  8. I thought of CT when "shane" put a cross in. It was a canny cross right onto the 6 yard line late on, but only Demba was in the box, he was in space but he was nowhere near it. CT would have been spunking over a canny ball into the danger zone like that. On the other hand, if Guttierez had done it, and not looked up to pick out Demba with pinpoint accuracy then he would have been raging about what a crock of shit he is.
  9. Heard him on the radio this morning saying it's the first time he's had to apologise for his team in 20 years managing. The interviewer couldn't believe it.
  10. Tuesday is the night I go round me brothers for tea with him and me da. No different this week.
  11. I'll have a look later cheers. Tried at work, but it's not on the UK one. I did find Nighty Night when searching though. Seem to remember that was canny funny.
  12. Taped it off channel 4 last night. Looking forward to it. Got good reviews at the time. Thought it was based on reality? Tony B and that. The war crime premise was fine by me, but the acting was terrible. I usually love Ewen McGregor's films but he can't do a cockney accent to save his life. His antic in the film are too unbelievable and just didn't buy into how his character would get that involved in it all. Watched it last night. Quite enjoyed it personally. It grates on our english ears to hear outsiders do our accent. That was my only problem with McGregor. Whenever ghe does scottish or American he's fine, but I'm never impressed when he's playing English. The story itself and the Hitchcocky suspense was all good though.
  13. Moneyball Love owt Aaron Sorkin writes. The daughter/wife tacked on bollocks was needless and wouldn't have pulled in female viewers at all if they weren't interested in the sports/stats side of things anyway. Didn't know Sorkin had done a sports series prior to the West Wing. Anyone seen Sports Night? Gonna have to get hold of that too The Fountain Horseshit
  14. Reading the latest from Kermode. Basically what he says on the podcasts in print. Still fun though. Best bit was when he was on about some straight to video film starring Shannon Tweed (Pirahnna women in the Amazon or whatever), which reminded me of Shannon Whirry, her soft core counterpart. He was going on about the gender equality issues of the Pirahna film, but all I was thinking about was Whirry's chebs. Animal Instincts 1 & 2 were mint but Mirror Images 2 was the most memorable film I saw between 13 & 15...and I saw it about 30 times on Bravo. These days with the internets most lads have seen double anal penetration before they're 11. It's a shame they'll never enjoy the high quality production levels of the less explicit smut industry.
  15. I knew she was popular but surprised she's outsold the likes of U2, Aerosmith, Frank Sinatra, Prince, Bon Jovi and Stevie Wonder.
  16. 2 points. Unless you'd like me to explain goal difference
  17. http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/12022012/58/premier-league-papers-savage-paranoid-dalglish.html Ouch
  18. Yet we only let in 12 goals in the 14 games he's played, he's of huge importance to the team keeping it's shape and without him sitting deep we're repeatedly being pulled apart in the middle when a team piles on the pressure. There's that too. But everyone says he'll be easy replaced in the summer. Just joining in
  19. Tiotes absence has coincided with one of our best runs of the season. He's not the be all and end all. Spurs are just very good and were well up for giving redknapp a send off.
  20. What people were calling a tactical mind game of great skill before the game (Pardew saying we don't expect owt from the game, lulling Spurs into a false sense of security) seems to actually have been a bit of an own goal, in that he let his own players off the hook for making nothing of the game.
  21. Are you booing a 6th place finish? No, I'm booing a serious lack of respect and passion. Not the first time this season.. Liverpool, 2nd half against Fulham, Brighton.... You say that, but in 8 years time, everyone will know, you were booing 6th.
  22. I know it's different people singing the praises of Pardew and slating the shit out of him. But still.
