  1. Penderecki Had no idea that's where Jonny Greenwood got 'There will be blood' from. Brilliant stuff
  2. It would improve Rangers standard of tweet like
  3. Are these "scores" based on anything in particular or are you just giving out your own scores. While I do hope for better than Simpson, I do think he gets more negativity than he deserves. He's had two or three goal line clearances and nearly scored again on Sarurday. The man's a cone.
  4. Within the year we'd spent a further £15m on guivarch, dabizas, hamann and Solano mainly.
  5. Pulled in £20m over 6 months when dalglish arrived from ferdy, ginola, asprilla, Beardsley etc. Spent £17m on tomasson, pistone, andersson, griffin and speed in the same timeframe. Criminal business.
  6. "We have long-term commitments and we need long-term stability. We are not Manchester United, but a lot better placed than other Premiership clubs" Brilliant. Every club comes out with this when the accounts come out, no matter how bleak things are.
  7. Look at those big spending Spurs cunts, with that lack of ambition they must be going nowhere. I re-posted it only to show Liverpool hadn't gone daft at all. I don't think the aim should be to have a long red bar, the preference would be not to. But spurs don't have weak links like Danny Simpson and mike Williamson playing every week while £25m sits waiting to be spent for over 3 windows.
  8. and then the thread dies That's not to mention the practical 'lotto win' the club had with Carroll. 70% of the clubs on that list (conservative estimate) wouldn't have turned down that sort of money for a player in Carroll's position and invested all the money back into the side. The chart suggests that the percentages are the other way round. 65% spend every penny they pull in. But aye, we've gone the arsenal, spurs, mackem route when pulling in big money, rather than the liverpool, man u one.
  9. That's right. It's from September 2011. If you have a later version hoy it up, otherwise you'll have to envisage where we'd be following the jan business. About the Sunderland level I think.
  10. http://www.iq-tests....dation-430.html Okay clever cunt, where do you think Liverpool will finish next year? As you are supporting their big spending approach Big spending, on a fraction of what the Manchester clubs and Chelsea fork out, with the might of Stoke and Wolves hot on their tail. They're not breaking the bank . Just using the money from the likes of Torres, Alonso, Mascherano etc. to reinvest on top of the sky money.
  11. You're at it again. IF ...me da had tits he'd be me ma
  12. "I don't think you would find any sane person who wouldn't have BA and Cisse together over Carroll. Notice the use of the word sane." How's that picky You're right, it's not picky, it's redundant. This is class mind.
  13. "I don't think you would find any sane person who wouldn't have BA and Cisse together over Carroll. Notice the use of the word sane."
  14. And you'll not be able to quote Leazes saying it either will you? Apart from "wheres the Carroll money" "never match the previous owners" " I am right chum" " you don't go to games so your opinions don't count" you can't really quote him on much because he refuses to give any answers. Not sure what your point is tho, you strike me as a bit of a picky fucker I am a picky fucker. Not half as picky as you like, I don't go as far as to pick fault with imaginary things that no sane person would or has said.
  15. Nothing new about it, just thought it was a nice picture to put in here.
  16. Arsenal have a wage bill over double ours. As do Liverpool. Tottenham's almost double. If these are the teams we're going to challenge for 4th - 6th, we can afford to upgrade from Danny fucking £10k a week Simpson or Mike bollocking 5k a week Williamson ffs. Things might have gotten out of hand with Shepherd, but let's not be over cautious about the going rate a top flight club NEED to spend on their first team squad.
  17. Under what circumstances could you see Ashley calling that loan in? I wouldn't say it's impossible that he might move the clubs debt back to a bank. Odd though it would be while he has the wealth to keep it interest free.
  18. I think we'd be better off with Johnson at right back than Simpson like. Not that he'd sign for us, even for £25m. You'd rather stick with championship level players than run the risk of signing any cunts? Those cunts were all here when we were playing in Europe btw.
  19. And you'll not be able to quote Leazes saying it either will you? Leazes skirting around a question? Surely not. JSM building Straw Men, not that Leazes is averse to doing that himself. TBF Leazes has never had a bad word for Cisse or Ba, and hasn't said he'd prefer Carroll over either of them. What he's consistently said, and where I agree with him, as a supporter of a team I want to succeed rather than an observer of accounts I want to see balanced, is that we've only spent £10m of the £35m we received. If we're in 6th on the back of that, imagine what we could have done if we'd used the other £25m to bring in a better centre back than Williamson, or a better right back than Simpson. Rather than conceding 14 goals in our last 6 games against the likes of Brighton, Blackburn, Wolves, Fulham, Villa and (more understandably) Spurs, we could still be in the FA cup and 4 or 5 points better off, up in 4th place.
