  1. I'd love a link to the source of that if you have one please.
  2. Almost as much potential as Shola there
  3. Chemnitzer Nora the hair explorer. Rember that eh? From school? Eh? What's all tharabout? Garlic Bread!
  4. I'd say six of those ten are young enough to be playing in 2014 and will have benefited from the experience of this one. Of the other four, two were our best players by miles and Cole would be a huge miss as well. Basically, I'd only willingly drop Parker from the older generation now. It's not like 2010 where we had the oldest squad and needed to move on, that process has started. The unfortunate problem is that the new generation includes the likes of Henderson & Downing. If that's what we have to move on to, lets cling on to the experienced players as much as we can. Ox C & Wilshere give more optimism, but we really need 11 of those coming through...and England just don't have it.
  5. Couple of updates there. Only 54 days to get your baseless predictions in for 2012/2013
  6. That too. If that overhead kick had come off though.....Lordy! He seemed too keen and snapped at it early. Ball just wouldn't drop. No-one anywhere near him though.
  7. He has to be the difference for us if we're going to do anything more in these tournaments. Ronaldo has shown what a top top world class player does for a country whose other players are average or whose other top players are not firing on all cylinders. I don't think they'll get past Spain, but if they do, he'll be the difference. Whatever Gazza's faults he always turned up on the field for England. Rooney has never looked close to doing the same, as supposedly the best English talent since Gazza he needs to start doing that. I don't think Brazil is his last chance like, he's only 26. Possibly 3 more tournaments in him.
  8. Communist politician and Interior Minister of Saxony
  9. First game of 12/13 is only 18 days away now. After German reunification in 1990, Chemnitzer FC qualified for the 2. Bundesliga at the end of the 1991–92 NOFV-Oberliga. Beginning with the 1992–93 season, Chemnitz spent five years in the second tier of German football until being relegated to the then third-tier Fußball-Regionalliga in 1997, and also advanced to the semifinal of the 1992–93 DFB-Pokal during this time. Since then, the importance of the club has faded. The following four years were evenly split between the Regionalliga and the 2. Bundesliga before eventually being relegated back to the Regionalliga (III) in 2001 and subsequently to the Oberliga Nordost (IV) in 2006. The last couple of years, however, saw the club slowly rising through the German league system once again with promotions to the now fourth-tier Regionalliga in 2008 and the 3rd Liga in 2011. They play at Stadion an der Gellertstraße Between 1950 and 1990, the stadium was called "Dr. Kurt-Fischer-Stadion". The stadium was later nicknamed the "Fischerwiese". Capacity - 16,000
  10. FYP Mr England Trifle.
  11. http://www.goal.com/en-us/news/3396/euro-2012/2012/06/01/3140935/the-average-age-of-every-squad-at-euro-2012 Only Germany and Poland younger.
  12. Didn't we have one of the youngest squads there. The old guard - Gerrard and Terry were our best players.
  13. Trifle is minging. Worst pudding ever. factabulous.
  14. Nah, you just need to give your twitter name
  15. Is that the end of NUFC interest in the Euro's then? All went well, no injuries or owt. No players catching the eye of bigger clubs any more than they have in the league. Only downer is Debuchy enhancing his reputation more than we'll be willing to match if we were seriously interested. Would love to have had him, can't see it happening now...unless Cabaye holds a lot of sway with him.
  16. I need your handle to add you.
  17. 31 toontastic posters on this list... https://twitter.com/#!/bigchrisholt/toontastic/members If there's anyone missing let me know.
  18. Iain Macintosh is top value. Very few football accounts s funny. Sammy ameobi comes close.
  19. Mary had a little Lahm He's only five foot six It's a shame he scored a goal like that Cos the Germans are all pricks
  20. ....I go back to the double speak.....to take just one fact revealed, that the US were concealing 15,000 known civilian deaths. Should taht be kept secret in order to avoid single digit threats that may or may not arise? That so far, have not, and not looking likely. The fact that the US formal policy was to ignore reports of rape, torture, murder etc by Iraqi forces....that was best kept concealed to avoid anyone coming to harm? What about the victims of rape and tortureand murder going ignored?
  21. So what should they have done with the information? Given that the US government refused to cooperate with redactions? Just sit on it? They seem to have made the perfect decision, given that there has been no evidence to the contrary at all.
  22. Ignoring the wealth of information that clearly was in the public interest. I'm interested to hear what was irresponsible about releasing the remaining 'noise' deemed not to have been in the public interest. Can you point to anything specific that the defense secretary of the US and the Pentagon spokesman couldn't, that would justify that accusation?
  23. So no act of investigative journalism that reveals classified secrets can be justified on the basis of what is revealed, even if the source tries to do it responsibly and the government refuses to help limit the release of sensitive information not in the public interest?
  24. Wikileaks is no different and would like to work with the US government in redacting sensitive information not in the public interest. However, the US government views the NYT more favourably and refuses to work with Wikileaks to that end. It is the US government that is therefore responsible for any information getting out there that they deem irresponsible. See the linked letter from the Department of Defense to Wikileaks which says as much. http://openanthropology.files.wordpress.com/2010/08/gc-letter.pdf This is NOT restricted to Assange and Manning by the way. See the stat provided above. Look at the cases of John Kiriakou and Tom Drake. Shamai Liebowitz, Jeffrey Sterling and James Risen from a cursory google search.
